I visited your restaurant yesterday to celebrate my anniversary. I had mentioned it was a special occasion, but unfortunately, no effort was made to acknowledge or celebrate it. The food portions were quite small, and overall, the experience wasn't very satisfying.

Always rate 5 stars. Earls on Main never disappoints! The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently amazing. Whether it's brunch, dinner, or just drinks with friends, everything comes out fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend the cocktails and their seasonal menu items — you can really tell they care about quality and presentation. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the city!

Overall, my experience was good. I would like to make one point...there is an option to add a message when making an online reservation; I had included a message regarding my seating preference, which was not acknowledged or honoured. My suggestion is that if you have a Message option, read and acknowledge the message, to avoid disappointment to your guests.

Our group had a great dinner in the dining room, then we moved over to the lounge to watch the Jays and the Jets, both teams won! What a great evening at Earl's!

I had to give myself a few days to think about how to write this review. I was visiting Winnipeg for a concert and, being a regular at the Earls “test kitchen” in downtown Vancouver, I expected the same level of service and consistency. Unfortunately, this location didn't deliver. On my first night (Friday), I couldn't make a reservation through OpenTable, so I went in person. The hostess immediately asked if I had a reservation — not the warmest greeting — but acknowledged they were having booking issues. Since I was alone, I offered to sit at the bar and was seated after about 10 minutes. Shortly after, a server told me I'd need to leave within two hours, which felt unwelcoming. It took quite a while before anyone at the bar acknowledged me, even though several staff were behind it. A regular was greeted immediately while I sat waiting. I eventually asked another waitress to take my order, but had to repeat it again to the bar staff later. The team seemed disorganized and more focused on chatting with each other and regulars than serving guests. My small Chicken Caesar salad was another letdown — mostly iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, and lacking the usual Earls quality. The restaurant itself looked great, with the familiar Earls aesthetic, so I decided to give it another try for happy hour two days later (Sunday). This time, I successfully made an OpenTable reservation, though we were moved to a different table upon arrival (which was fine). However, once again, the service was slow and inconsistent — our meals arrived well before our drinks. Overall, both visits felt far below the Earls standard I'm used to. With better organization and guest attentiveness, this location could easily match the brand's reputation — but for now, it left a lot to be desired.

We have been to Earls many times before attending a Jets game and always book a reservation on open table. Earls Happy Hour Menu is a great value and it is appreciated by me. Our service was slow to start but once I noified a manager that we had been waiting approximately 25 minutes for service other than water service was picded up greatly. Our first round of drinks and some chips and salsa were on the house and our meals were promply delivered and much appreciated. Our server apologize for the slow service and offered us a complementary dessert after our happy hour food choices. I will be back to this location as they did get it right after a slow start and i left as a happy cutomer. I will book my future reservation in the lounge or bar top so I can appreciate the HH specials.

Always good food and the service is high level too. A great option before a Jet's game as they'll always get you out on time. Doesn't hurt that parking is validated.
It was super loud and the server basically never stopped in. The music makes it insanely hard to hear the person next to you

Last night, I made a reservation for girls night. It was a very great evening! Dom was our waitress and was very outgoing. She made us laugh and cracked a few jokes, she made us feel like she should be sitting with us at the table instead of serving us haha! We ordered our appetizers which came out super quick! Also ordered a couple of drinks/shots which were recommended by Dom. Overall, great service from her. Definitely would come back and ask for her to be our waitress again!!

It was game night for the Winnipeg Jets so it was extremely busy. Our reservation had mix up however the hostess ( the very tall hostess) worked to find a suitable table in fairly short order. Our server was very friendly and provided excellent service. In what could have been a negative experience for us turned out to be another great experience on a very busy night. Great job everyone involved. Thanks we appreciate you all in the service industry! Best regards Ed Lindquist

I absolutely love this place. great venue to get hyped up before a hockey game or to come back too after the game. Food is always tasty, service wonderful and ambiance is second to none!

Our Saturday night dinner at Earl's 300 Main was fantastic! Everything was perfect-from arrival to departure. The employees were all so friendly and respectful, very efficient in their roles. The food was delightful! Excellent presentation and so delicious. We enjoyed the Margherita pizza, spicy california roll and the corn avocado dip. Finished with the cheesecake which was amazing!! Highly recommend this location - we love the decor, the vibe, the staff, the food.
