Wanted to try something new for my Birthday lunch and saw this place had excellent reviews.
Unfortunately you can’t find the place. There is no signage anywhere telling you where to go or even showing there may be a restaurant somewhere. On Google the address is 70 Whellams Lane but apparently it’s actually in 60 Whellams Lane. From Visitor Parking to the door you must go up a ramp and then find your way to the basement for the restaurant. We were with someone who required ease of accessibility so we didn’t even attempt to find it.
Also if you search it on Google and use it to guide you to the “door”… it takes you to a parking lot behind the bustling with a bunch of BFI bins.
If you live here, great! If you don’t, don’t waste your time and effort.
We also called asking for directions and they told us to call the building manager.

What a pleasure it is for me to recommend Edgewood Cafe to the residents of Edgewood Estates. I have sampled the cream of broccoli soup which was awesome and served piping hot. On another occasion I tried the cream of mushroom soup which was a disappointment. There were precious few mushroom pieces in the soup. As well, the broth was not creamy, perhaps needing more corn starch or flour to thicken it. The Classic Burger, served with a slice of cheddar cheese, is ever so delicious. Another evening I tried the Salisbury Steak which was prepared to my liking with sautéed onions and house gravy as well as a salad (in my case, a Caesar salad) and French fries. I have also tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs tossed in a rich tomato sauce. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Prices, in my humble opinion, are reasonable considering the generous portions. I encourage all residents of Edgewood Estates to visit and support this little gem in our midst!!!

security not 24/7 Amazingly Tanis Ho the manager - queen liar - got promoted for her lying to a head position in Vancouver The funniest part is that after all the theft of bikes - they actually stole the tv monitor for security from the main lobby 3 am In the last 2 months over 20 expensive bikes have been stolen from the complex Tenants are kept in the dark over theft .Tenants are afraid to go into the garage late at night or even in the morning going to work So much for promises of 24/7 security .
