Where do I even begin with this place...What is the point of the "Special Instructions" section on the Diversity app if you guys aren't even going to glance at it? Don't bother adding extra requests or instructions because they won't follow them.Almost every time I order delivery, I have to call back because my order is missing items I paid for.Prices are insane, and if you live in UWinnipeg dorms, you have no other option but to pay for it. With the prices as high as they are, you would assume that the food and service are great, but unfortunately that is not the case. Also, WHY ON EARTH do you close at 5pm on Sundays?? Elements is the only place open on the weekends on campus, and you can't even get dinner. So, on top of the ridiculous price of the meal plan, prepare to spend EVEN MORE money eating out on Sunday nights. It's shameful the way students are treated here, especially when they're forced to pay minimum $2500 per term for the meal plan. Just awful. Do better.

Why are you blasting the N word in your music? It ruins the atmosphere.

This place is located inside the big science building at UW on portage ave. It’s a warm, inviting restaurant, with big windows and you can see the chefs cooking. Food is amazing and is created by two of the top chefs in Winnipeg! It’s open to the public and you can even book the restaurant for your events!! The Bang Bang shrimp is addictive and their tacos are to die for!! Their manager David is awesome, he does monthly trivia nights!!

Staff are friendly and attentive, though I've only gotten takeout. The food portion of the pasta was quite small for $16 so it has deterred me from ordering here again. It was tasty, but not filling whatsoever. I also ordered on the diversity food app, but it never told me when the order would be ready, so after about 20 minutes I went to check and it was sitting on the counter. Unfortunately, my pasta was lukewarm by the time I ate it. The iced coffee was also disappointing as it must've been warm when they made it because the ice was melted by the time I walked from Elements to my classroom inside Richardson.

I am very confused as to why all of a sudden they refuse to serve poutine. I have been ordering a poutine from Elements since I’ve been a student here and suddenly they don’t sell poutine? While it’s not on the menu, they have always charged me for a side of fries with a side of gravy and cheese as an add on. When the gentleman at the counter said they don’t serve poutine i asked if they sell fries, side gravy and a cheese add on… he said yes. So you CAN make a poutine? He said “lemme check”, and suddenly they are “all out of gravy”. Poutine is one of the most basic and easy things to make and sell yet all of a sudden they can’t make it? Looks like i’ll be going across the street for a poutine, no way i’m walking to the other side of the campus to Pangeas for it. Cool atmosphere though.

Paid almost $8 and waited 40 minutes for a chocolate lava cake, got this. It's definitely just a chocolate muffin. No molten chocolate and looks nothing like the other lava cakes I've received. Seriously not impressed.**They gave me a refund and a free cake which I appreciate :). Still spent 40 minutes of my life waiting for a muffin, though.**

Very hit or miss. My Korean Fried Chicken came with 3 tiny pieces and a massive mound of plain, super dry white rice topped with raw tomato and nothing else... for $17. Fries are good though.

Really great restaurant with tons of options of meat eaters. Staff is very welcoming especially David Jensen. The kind man came and sat with us to give us company during our meal. Great music to help with the food. Food is tasty with lots of drinks options including alcohol

Cozy place, friendly staff, great food (especially as a vegetarian) and David Janssen!? Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something good in downtown.
