I was there in 1994, and have been a patron ever since. The menu now is absolutely amazing; I haven’t had anything I haven’t liked. Tonight, it was the Banger and Mash. Delicious. Highly recommended!

Sunday roast was disappointing. It was described as tender and was not at all tender, obviously very cheap cut of meat. It was dry, like really dry and tough. The rest of the meal was great with wonderful flavour.

Et en plus en mangeant, il y avait des mouches à fruits qui volaient autour. Cela veut dire que c'est sale dans le resto - dans la cuisine. Cet endroit manque de propreté. Plus jamais.

Absolutely lovely pub attached to the Delta Hotel. I ate here a couple of times while in town for work. Service was uniformly excellent! Incredibly friendly and helpful - especially when agonising over the menu. Food was very good - though the Shepard's pie is actually a cottage pie, and the other pies aren't full crust - just puff pastry on top. This is only an issue if you're a big fan of full crust pies. The pretzels with cheese and beer sauce are way more filling than anticipated - very tasty though.
Great place for pre gaming. Excellent affordable food and drinks. Staff friendly and professional, great fast service. Chicken fingers awesome as was the chicken club. Beer nice and cold. Will return soon.

My wife & I were downtown Winnipeg for a concert and wanted to eat near the venue. It was Boston Pizza or Elephant & Castle across the street from each other. Very glad we decided to try something new & picked Elephant & Castle. From the Deep Fried pickles app to my burger & fries & my wife's fish tacos everything was really good! Loved the seasoning on the fries & my wife loved her Noble Salad. All in even with taxes under $60 as well so very good value too!
Parking: It's downtown so one needs to pay to park in a parking lot or on the street during the day. We came at night so street parking was free but was did have to park a few blocks away. No big deal on a nice night but wouldn't be enjoyable in mid January.

First time here and it was a really good experience. The chicken tenders and chips were really good, but the star of the show was the big ben brownie. Largest brownie I have ever seen, but totally worth it.
Parking situation in downtown is unfortunately not good, but that is not the fault of the restaurant so no point in deducting points off.
