Ordered butter chicken and paid $120 for supposedly 70 pieces but only got 55 pieces. I was severely shorted when I could have just paid $70 for the medium tray. I hope they are careful next time and fix this issue.

This place was a staple in my family but the quality and taste is no longer worth coming back. Staff is friendly. Recently placed a $200 to-go order: the chowmein was oddly gooey with no flavour, the butter chicken was salty, the breaded shrimp with sweet and sour sauce was not your typical, reminded me of tempura, and the 5 spice squid had no flavour. Can go on and on.. I recommend trying other Chinese restaurants before this one.
Great amount of food for price

Ordered the chicken & broccoli as well as beef chow mein and both entrees had no flavors.
Very disappointed as I use to come here all the time when I lived here.

Don’t order the chop suey they’ll give you shredded vegetables (cabbage/bean sprouts) instead of real Chop seuy that have generous amount of vegetables , not shredded stuff.

The last 2 times we tried the butter chicken. Both times, it’s not as good as before. I used to enjoy their butter chicken and I heard the management changed, hence the difference. Ordered chow mein too and it was bland.

I feel bad leaving this review because the waiter was nice, but the food was really bad. The crab rangoons weren’t drained of oil at all and mostly had broccoli in them. The vegetables on the chow mein were in giant pieces and the sauce tasted off, kind of like those liquid cat treat things (I’m not trying to be mean but it was really bad). Made me feel sick so I stopped eating it. The chicken was cut up haphazardly and just thrown in a deep fryer, so it was still edible but very bland. The water tasted off.
We didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to embarrass the staff in front of some other guests that had just come in, so I don’t know if they would’ve offered to comp it but I honestly just wanted to leave ASAP.

Excellent! Never disappoints!!!! Just enjoyed a dinner we picked up from our favourite Chinese restaurant. Thank you. Dinner was ready minutes after 6pm. Our dishes were Peking Fried Rice, Shrimp in black bean sauce, Kung Pao Chicken as well as a Chop Suey dish. Always fresh, tasty and perfect.

I’ve lived in Winnipeg all my life and this place was my go to for fried chicken, but then suddenly it tasted different. From other reviews I found that the there was new management. Please bring back the old Butter Chicken!
