We came to Winnipeg solely because of the empanadas and the reviews of this place. What a disappointment! My husband ordered a burger and described it as the worst he'd ever eaten. The meat was horrible, very tough, and the mango was hard and green (don't do that again). It would be preferable to offer them without the mango. The empanadas were soaked in oil; please drain them well before serving. The place looks nice in the pre-arrival photos, but the smell is horrible;...
I was wheeling (I’m in a wheelchair) around downtown Winnipeg and I smelled something delicious and I turned to my right and saw their establishment. The building was very easy to get into if you have mobility issues. I was surprised by the amount of space in front of the cash register, which I appreciated as there was a lot of room to maneuver around. The staff were all very nice and very friendly. This place is a must try! It's columbian empanada place. I orders 2 for $5 empanada and it taste really good. Crispy crust, light breading and the side salsa was herby and not overpowering. Great atmosphere and fast and friendly service. The only bad part was it's located inside a building and the building smells so bad
