I used to like this location but the past couple of weeks when I’ve been getting the sweet and salty matcha it’s been tasting very bland even after mixing. They don’t put enough syrup at the bottom and my matcha doesn’t taste the same, last time I had to ask the girl to add more syrup and it finally tasted like normal.
I go to other locations and it’s been consistent other than here.

There's a popular John Cena interview where he talks about the flat white being the perfect measure of a coffee shop and how much they care about their drinks. For me, in this city, that's is the cortado. Supposed to be 50/50 espresso to milk. Sadly this shops smallest cup is too big for this drink, and the ratio is always off. 9 times out of 10 I will order a cortado and leave with a flat white/latte unless I specifically ask for less milk or a 50/50 ratio.

The coffee was really good and I enjoyed being there with my friends and I couldn't tell if it was the coffee shop that was making me feel happy or if it was the fact that I was with my friends. I also loved the music that they were playing. It was Rihanna circa 2005. Bangers only. Love that. I got one of the overnight oats from the fridge, and at first I thought it wasn't very good but then as I kept eating it, my mind changed. I don't know if it was because I was hungry but it became very delicious and I would absolutely go back for another one. Maybe even two.

The latte I received was scalding hot; the hot drinks are clearly not steamed using a thermometer to ensure consistency. Some customers received latte art while others did not which was quite strange. Tip prompt was preset for $1, $2, or $3 which is VERY optimistic for the tepid and indifferent service and poorly prepared drink. Atmosphere is initially interesting but all hard surfaces make for a consistency high noise level. The atmosphere certainty doesn't make up for the poor service and bad drink quality.

I just got a peaches n cream matcha from here and it didnt look like the usual (I buy it alot from here). So i asked the girl working if this is the correct drink and she said yes. Now im home trying it and its not the same thing. It does not have any cold foam or any topping and its way too sweet.
Great coffee for a great price! Can't go wrong with Empty Cup :)

I come here 2-3 times a week: they’ve greatly reduced the front staff. On Oct 08@9:20AM, there was only one person taking orders and making coffee. There were about 5 people in line unattended. The coffee was done poorly and I don’t blame the barista because one person can’t be expected to juggle so many things. Disappointed in the management more so.
