I have called on different days during opening hours and have only gotten message....
I was just trying to place an order for pickup but it's impossible when no one ever answers. At least 3 different occasions.
Is this place still open.
I don't understand why no one is answering

Called Again minutes ago. Still no answer. How does a restaurant do business if they don't answer phone 🤔

I hear this place is closing in a month and the owners opening in a new city! This is more of a 5 star ‘thank you for the delicious food and feeding Winnipeg, good luck in Calgary’ review!

What a quaint little corner restaurant. The space is cramped, it literally feels like you’ve squeezed into a hole in the wall, yet this is the kind of place I love. It has character with the space they’re working with, the owner/staff deliver on delicious hot food. They’re accommodating and friendly, answering our questions. The food hits the spot and ordering more than you can eat easily benefits you with plenty of left overs to eat for days. This is a rather unassuming gem that benefited this city’s culinary scene. Good luck to the owners on whatever comes next!

Lady made us wait 30 mins just to come to the table and say they are sold out of everything we wanted, would never go back here terrible service wouldn't step foot in this joint! Stay away from this hole in the wall!

The grumpy rude older lady is Terrible, she does not have the ability to even pretend to be courteous. Walk in and she confronts you with a stern menacing gaze asks what you want and reply as if you are a unruly child she is scolding even when you try to act like it’s nothing and soften the mode with a joke and diffuse the unnecessary tension that’s building up she points and orders you around “wait 20 minutes!” “sit here!” No way I’m eating here. If I can’t trust the outward appearance and your attitude towards people, I definitely cannot trust what’s in your heart and your food.
There is always a nice kind way to convey even the worse news. But this lady picks the rudest means possible.

Hands down the best Chinese BBQ in the city. The meat is very tender. The place is however a little small and sometimes can get pretty crowded. The lady is friendly, but they gets overwhelmed by the crowd sometimes. If you just want some delicious Chinese food, I highly recommend you to try it here.

Called them to book two dishes three days ago, they said I have to be here to pick up at 4:00 pm sharp on that day. When I came they have I waited there for 20 minutes before they handed over dishes to someone who came in the store after me claiming the pick up time is also 4:00pm. Never came back to this place again

Good taste, but if you can't open on the time you showed up,just change it. I went there twice for pick up,every time the door was locked and no one‘s there. But they still accept my order on platform. I’ve waited my food for almost 2 hours…..Not a good place for lunch cuz you will not get food until at least 3pm.

Came as soon as it opened at one o'clock, but it didn't open until half past two.

Authentic Canton-style crispy BBQ pork belly and roasted duck. We tried both in rice platter, the pork belly and duck were both crispy and tasty. The portion was huge and the sauce on rice was unforgettably good.

Servers were friendly and tried hard to serve as many customers as possible, but they were just too busy.

I am so satisfied to be able to eat such crispy Peking duck in a foreign country! You can see that the kitchen is very clean, and the amount of roast duck is abundant. It is slightly different from the authentic Beijing roast duck. It loses the greasy shortcomings of Beijing roast duck and retains the advantages of crispy skin of Beijing roast duck. The only regret is that I don’t live in Winnipeg. Otherwise eat at least three meals a week!

This is the first time we ate in this restaurant no complain with the food that we order it was good actually but the service is not too really friendly at all they should check even just once in a while their customers if they are done or not . And don’t ignore them.It took so long before she gave the bill that we ask for and she just go back and forth and pass by us not even look or glance on us and keep getting the order of the other customers on the other table and serving the food of the another table beside us to think we are politely approaching her that we are done and we need a container and the bill but still we are patiently waiting for her . And when she remember us she just put the bill together with the container on our table and turn around. No thank you or even apologize for waiting her so long .If you are busy in your restaurant you should have someone who take the payment or have enough staff to provide a good customer service and not let them to wait for so long like that . Good and friendly customer service is part of a business. Good thing we have lots of patience that day.
