Thankfully shut down for a multitude of sanitary reasons, including but not limited to rodent problems, dishwashers not working, and using bacon fat in vegetarian/vegan options. No idea how it's so highly rated here, but it has been shut down and hopefully never comes back.

Tastes okay. But there are places that I can find better taste for the same. Platters were super oily so that when I get rhe food oil was dripping from the package. I had better food from this same place years ago.

This used to be a great place for brunch for us. But last visit felt very unwelcoming. We had a server who never once have i seen smile. Never offered us the fixing where before they would ask hey do you want the onions or pepper on your plate or on the side. Portions are weird now. I got 2 slices of toast while my partner got 1. And the one thing I used to love was their potato pancake. Even that was thin. Cant be mad shrinkflation is here as expected. Food still good just not as great as it was

I have been coming here since I was born at the old location with my dad, and I’m still coming here 26 years later. Food and service is always fantastic, and I’m so happy to see it busy like it was when I was a kid and thriving again after the empty COVID times.

Some of the best falafel in the city! Tastes great and is affordable and fast. The only thing is that it can get very loud when it is a packed house and hard on my elderly dad's hearing. But service is attentive and food is beyond yummy. BONUS: the VEGAN options are appreciated!

So I frequent an un healthy amount of breakfast joints, this is my favourite for pitch perfect consistency and my go to falafel breakfast add side of sausage. Services is always quick and their potato pancakes, harissa , and hummus rules! I like that they give you a huge bottle of home made harissa

I used to frequent this place when I lived in Winnipeg. Now under new ownership it has lost some its charm, the Latkes have definitely changed and not for the better. The Latkes used to be cooked more and had some crispness to it. This time they felt undercooked and what happened to the original ingredients.
The rest of the breakfast was okay. How can anyone really mess up eggs and toast.
The service is still excellent as is the ambience. Sadly, I probably won’t visit this place the next time o come to Winnipeg.

We went out for lunch one day, and said, lets go to Falafel place! Its so good! We got there akwardly waited at the entrance blocking other people from getting in, until 5 minutes later we got seated. Almost instantly we placed our orders of 3 soups and 2 Falafel Ball platters. We then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for Falafel balls, which were good, but drenched in so much sauce that you could not even taste the flavor. Then finally after 35 minutes, our SOUP came. Now, usually soup comes first at a restaurant, but who am I to judge? It was mozza ball soup and the mozza balls were raw and tasted like complete garbage. It felt like I just spent 12 dollars on hot water. Will not be coming back.
