Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Feast for 2 is enough for 3 in our family and has lots of meat. It doesn't have many vegetables, aside from a small dish of coleslaw, 2 types of corn and baked beans. The salmon was a hit with our pescatarian. Decor is rustic and interesting. Seating near the kitchen can be noisy.
On the whole, it was a great experience that we've come back for a few times now. Thank you!

3 pm Saturday afternoon. Seated in the lounge, with menu, drink menu, and sat for 15 mins without any service! It wasn't at all busy. Most of the time sitting there, there were 3 or 4 staff at the bar or passing through. Ended up going to "State and Main" where the service and food was was great!

We use to go here all the time, my mother came to visit from toronto and we were excited to take her here.

We were extremely disappointed, the food was clearly stale, the corn was very old, coleslaw was disgusting!! Barely any meat was given to us. The corn bread had random chunks in it? Not worth $150 we wasted¡!! Atleast our server was awesome, he's the only reason we didn't say much there but I did tell him it wasn't good. He said they have changed suppliers, this definitely was a cook issue. I will never go back

We were in town visiting family and they recommended this place. I had the devil's spit burger and I think it was the best burger I have ever had.

It was really chill, they had the NFL game on and ordering was super easy too. They got my burger spot on first time lol... I added a chicken breast to my ultimate burger for an extra $7 and Holy moly that made it the "ULTIMATE" burger. It was delicious and my wedge fries rocked.

For $80 for two of us I really wanted to enjoy it! I’ve been there a couple of times. First time ordering the feast for 2-3. First bite was the corn and it was unfortunately cold and water filled. We told our very kind server and she brought us 3 more. Same thing. They were obviously sitting in water because went we bit into it, it was just soggy water corn. The brisket, which was extra cost was very fatty, we left the good piece for our lunch and it wasn’t very good. The ribs were tasty though. The only thing that saved this meal was our server. She was ON IT. Apologized profusely for the food. We got mashed potatoes instead of ceasar salad as well. They took the money off our parties bill but not ours for the gross corn and brisket which was unfortunate. She then apologized for the late cocktails because the bartender was new. Server gets 5 stars but the food wasn’t worth what we spent which made us sad because it’s usually very tasty.

Won’t be going back here again. Corn was so soggy we could not eat it. Wedges were hard and cold. The meats were all room temperature at best. service was terrible. Waiters please Don’t ask your customers “how was everything?” And then walk away from them when they try to comment! Very disappointing first experience.
