Was in your Winnipeg restaurant last night, have to say was probably one of the WORST meals I have ever eaten. What has happened to your restaurant? The brisket was like a dried out piece of leather, soup was lukewarm at best, ribs were terrible. Seriously what has happened to the food quality? This used to be one of my favourite go to places. The food I ate last night wouldn't even win last place in a BBQ contest. Was told by server that it was due to "Staff Shortage" does staff shortage mean extremely poor quality?

We were served old, bad tasting sides with our dinner. The fish gave my husband food poisoning.

Fantastic pork. I suggest you try the potato soup. Big chunks of potato, crunchie bacon. Delish!!!

I was visiting Winnipeg from BC and I knew I had to try this restaurant. The food was amazing. The price was reasonable and the decor was original. I would definitely come back next time I visit Winnipeg.

Great place. Our last visit was not the best the last Saturday, the service was always in a rush, however, we understand. Hopefully next time is better.

We were seated in the bar area. Our little group of 3 waited 45 minutes for our food, while a group of 4 that was seated after us got their meals before we did. I'm also pretty sure our meals sat under the heat lamp for a while because the beef brisket was dryer than the Sahara desert. The portions were small, and we left still hungry. It was a disappointing birthday dinner. All in all, we will not be coming here again.

New server - Jade - excellent, kind, fun, happy, service. When you get a server who is attentive and personable and responds to every question with only one week on the job, your experience of the restaurant is positive. Her food suggestions were great and attention to a gluten allergy sensitivity was appreciated. Jade made my first trip to Famous Dave’s, a memorable one. The hostess was also great. Food was okay. Portions were generous.

Has the best ribs ever.

We are regulars at this restaurant. Very disappointed today. Back ribs were stale and dry. The coleslaw was terrible…it was wilted and tasteless. Beans were good as always. Wing basket was very good as usual. This place needs to be better…sometimes very good…but sometimes not so good at all. We are hoping the feedback is used to get things more consistent!

First time visiting. The Staff was friendly and helpful, worked amazing as a team helping each other out. The food was fantastic! We were surprised how fast it was brought out after we ordered. We will definitely go back! We ordered a sampler appetizer and a family feast to share.
