The food was really, really good - definitely the highlight of the evening. It was a family-style/shared entrée set menu, and the flavours and presentation were excellent. Credit to the kitchen, because the quality of the dishes themselves was impressive!!
Unfortunately, the service and cleanliness didn’t match the food. Our plates and cutlery arrived dirty, which immediately set a different tone. Throughout the meal there was no check-in from staff, no overview of the menu or what to expect for each course, and overall communication felt minimal.
It looked like the team may have been exhausted since they were running multiple back-to-back Valentine’s seatings, and I did notice one or two staff members checking in warmly with other tables. However, overall the staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or happy, which affected the atmosphere.
In summary:
• Food: Excellent
• Service: Lacking
• Cleanliness: Needs improvement
• Overall: Mixed experience
I would return for the food, but I hope the service and attention to cleanliness improve, because the kitchen truly deserves a better front-of-house experience to match the quality of the dishes.

Had an overall awful experience. I called in for a to go order and the woman who answered was so unbelievably rude. Got my order of a poutine and chicken fingers. There is practically no gravy or cheese and to top it off, they did not include the honey dill sauce, so my chicken fingers are dry
One of the best meals I've had in Winnipeg. My partner and I had lunch for the first time at Feast about a month ago and I am still thinking of the food and the overall atmosphere. We ordered the vegan curry with wild rice which was so delicious and the bison ramen which I was told was also very good. It was one of those meals where you leave feeling full in a really wholesome and satisfied way which communicates to me how fresh the food is and the intention with which it is prepared. I can't recommend eating here enough and I look forward to returning on my next trip to the area.

Absolutely love Feast. I come every single time I’m in Winnipeg. From the tacos, to steak bites, to the eggs Benedict and pickerel sliders, everything I’ve ever had was delicious. The bison eggs Benedict is perfection, the Hollandaise is tangy and smooth, the strips of bison are a perfect addition. Cannot recommend highly enough. Their baked bannock is the best I’ve ever had and always get some to take with me. My bestie loves the bison dip. It varies by time of day, but if you don’t want to wait I recommend making a reservation. You can park relatively easily on the street and looks wheelchair accessible (I don’t recall a step, bathroom is on main floor and there should be space to use a walker or wheeled chair).

The afternoon sunlight poured into the restaurant, making the whole place look like a painting ☀️🎨.
I ordered the Shredded Bison Dip and the Feast House Salad — the bison was incredibly flavorful, and the salad was light and refreshing. The only downside? Everything leaned a bit on the oily side 🍽️😌.

When we searched the internet for the best restaurant in Winnipeg, one answer consistently came up: Feast.
We weren’t disappointed. The restaurant has a hip-yet-welcoming vibe, with an industrial ceiling and local art and photos along the walls. But it wasn’t the space that stood out, it was the food and our server Robyn.
Our salad felt nourishing, the buffalo lasagna was delicious, the bison ramen was uniquely yummy, and we were introduced to spicy garlic ginger sweetgrass oil. Wow.
When we finished dinner, we weren't expecting Robyn to give us a handwritten list of bar, café, and brunch recommendations, complete with her favourites starred. The place was busy the entire time we were there, so I don’t know how she found the time to add this personal touch after we mentioned that it was our first time Winnipeg. She’s our nominee for city ambassador. We’re so happy to have found Feast!
