Extremely friendly service and came by many times to check on us and interacted with great conversation! Food was delicious!! We sat in the lounge and a soccer game was on. It was a bit loud but we could manage talking.

Great chill place to hang out with friends and family and good food. Recommended.

Nice enough pub food. Chicken fingers in the Jameson honey garlic sauce were a tad soft if that makes sense. Fries were good. Partner had the cheesy burger i believe and enjoyed it, was very happy with the fried pickle garnish.

I was quite surprised, with the variety of social situations, there. I went there to see a live band(that I've seen before at other Winnipeg locations) and have some food and drinks, with friends. Of course I had to sample the menu, with as many selections as (my eyes are bigger than my stomach) I could physically put into me. They're food was great!! Tasty. Fresh. Hot. And brought to me exactly in the order I asked for. The prices on the food were decent. The drink prices were comparable to almost everywhere else. It was a good night out. Then I go back the next night, to have another few drinks and a bite to eat, and it's completely different!!! In a good way too!!! Now there's over 100 Ukrainians, mixed with locals, having a great time!!! Once again it was an awesome night out!!! Top that off with some beautiful staff, that were friendly, fast, and made it a memorable evening, at this local Irish Pub, Thanks Fionn MacCools. You've got a new regular.

Enjoyed experience under new management. Great food quality and live music. Lots of special deal on food and drinks during the week.

Our food came via Skip, so can’t talk about the restaurant itself —assuming this food was actually made there, but who knows? This used to be a great place for fish and chips. The fish pieces were always big hang-off-the-plate triangles, lightly battered and not overcooked. Just like I had growing up in NS. Frozen fish, but that is OK, being a four-hour flight from any salt water. What was delivered to us was barely edible. The fish pieces looked and tasted different from before but the main problem was they were left in the fryer way too long. It’s not hard to cook fish properly and less is always more. The batter was so tough I had to cut it with a knife and the gnarled burnt ends couldn’t be eaten. It was so terrible, I would rather eat the fish pucks they serve at IKEA over this. And, it cost me $30 per dish for the privilege. Normally only have good things to say about the food at Fionn’s but after being burned literally and figuratively on this order, am not going back.

With a party of 9 I understand things take a little longer if the restaurant is busy. But it was not. Took 30-40 minutes for everyone to get drinks, food all can out in decent time but a few of the meals where wrong or awful. One person got an apple pie instead of shepherds pie, one of the club sandwich's was to have no cheese (allergy) and it did, the mushroom soup I had with my meal tastes like soda water and was cold( did not eat) the sandwich was remade and came out fairly quick but the shepherds pie did not come until we were ready to leave and everyone had to pay full price and the server and or manager did not compensate for this. Overall it was a poor experience for a place that is usually good.

Worst dining experience. Had to find someone to bring us kids menus. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins, plates. Had to find someone to take drink order about 20 mins after sitting down. No once checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Took over an hour and a half since arriving to gets our meals. Which was mediocre at best. Never going back.
