Went for dinner with 3 girlfriends. We all had something different and it was wonderful. I had the Cajun salmon bowl which was absolutely delicious and I will certainly order that again. One friend had the chicken schnitzel and enjoyed every bite, and the other girlfriend had the large bowl of onion soup (which look fantastic) and a small caesar salad. She said she had the onion soup before and knew that she would have it again because it was soooo good. It was 1/2 price bottle of wine night so we took advantage of that. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

They brought back the Octoberfest menu. The schnitzel and meatballs are my favourite. A great meal out with the family.

We had a booth in the restaurant side by the windows. Found the music too loud. Otherwise really enjoyed the food and service.

Had another excellent DnD session at Fionns. The Guinness was spectacular, and Ty was awesome as always.

Didn't realize there was a band on Friday night. The noise level was manageable until then but I had to go outside with a member of our party who is very sensitive to loud noise. We were finished eating but had to wait for the rest of our party. I will be sure to check next time. Otherwise a great experience

Reserved a table for four but probably not necessary as the restaurant was pretty quiet at 6 pm on a Saturday long weekend. Our server Sara was great - friendly, funny, and very helpful. I saw that the menu had changed since we were last there and mentioned that I remember more vegan options, and Saea whipped out a completely separate Vegan menu! We had the Phish sandwich and the Chick'un sandwich and both were very tasty. Our friends both had Fish and Chips and commented that the texture was different from what they'd had at the Regent location, but tasty just the same.

Food was good but service was meh. We were on our last bites when the server finally came to our table to ask if everything was ok. No water refills without hunting down your server. We watched one server talk to one table the entire time we were there.

On a positive point, the hostess was very friendly and always busy working clearing, cleaning and checking on guests. What a gem you have in her.

Great meals, very friendly and attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere, both inside and on the covered patio.

DELIVERY!
Please remind your staff that their job is only to hand over the order — nothing more.
I am an independent courier, not their employee. Your staff have absolutely no right to shout at me across the parking lot, like some unprofessional person, telling me how to do my job. That is completely unacceptable.
They don’t know my workflow, and it is not their place to question it. If I choose to carry the order to my car before putting it into the bag, it is because I know my route, my schedule, and my other upcoming pickups. I often have multiple bags and multiple orders to manage. It is more convenient and efficient for me to organize everything in my vehicle — not at your counter, and definitely not in front of someone yelling at me.
Couriers are not “below” restaurant staff — we are partners in the process. Respect must go both ways. I do not tell your staff how to do their job — they should not try to tell me how to do mine.
Please instruct your employees to stop interfering in a courier’s work, stop shouting across parking lots, and focus on their actual duties. This kind of behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary.

Response for Jay!

It seems there is some misunderstanding about how courier operations work.
1. Regarding the warming bag.
A warming bag is present with the courier when picking up orders. Placing the order into the bag at the counter is not always practical or efficient. Organizing orders in the vehicle ensures proper handling, sufficient space, and efficiency. This is standard practice across the delivery industry and does not compromise food quality.
2.Regarding multiple orders.
Delivery platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Skip, are designed to assign multiple orders on a single route to optimize delivery efficiency. Couriers do not independently decide how many orders to carry the system assigns them. Contrary to what was suggested, this is entirely within standard workflow procedures.
3.Regarding the original concern.
The main issue was staff behavior specifically shouting across the parking lot and attempting to direct the courier’s workflow. The response provided shifted focus entirely to platform policies, ignoring the real concern about professional conduct and respect.
A clearer understanding of standard courier procedures and professional communication would help ensure better collaboration, protect the quality of deliveries, and maintain the restaurant’s reputation.

New menu is certainly worse. Somehow the food and speed of service have declined.
Food is okay, slow. Everything is very expensive; not really worth the price.

Food was great. We had issues with service but they resolved it, but the process was not the best.

Food was great, the servers were super personable. Brought my dog and they immediately asked if they could bring her a bowl of water. Amazing food and staff
