Absolutely the worst food in Winnipeg. I can’t believe this place is still in business. There are plenty of options in Winnipeg for good Chinese food. Do not eat at Foody Goody. Everything about this place is terrible. The bathrooms are filthy, the place is grungy looking, the service is brutal. The food is over cooked, dry, and tasteless. It’s Chinese food how do you make terrible rice. The Foody is not Goody, I will never eat there ever again. Bloody disgusting. This place should be ashamed for charging what they charge.

Went for lunch , no real Chinese food ,no seafood save California roles used to have mussels ,shrimp, chilled peel and eat shrimp, the soup bowel got a lot smaller
The deep frid chicken legs seemed to be the staple for much of the tables but it reflects the area now,but I amtold the dinner menue had more seafood

Foody Goody Chinese Buffet is a great spot for anyone craving a satisfying and generous meal!
Wow prices are ridiculous, used to enjoy it but the place isnt as clean as it used to be and very out dated. Very disapointed at the price increase... 1 adult and 2 children $82. Your child is not long a child at 13 so best to say theyre 12. It ain't a 5 star restaurant dont waste your time and money just go to buffet square same food, at least theyre price is reasonable.
Very nice place and del food 👌

I decided to write this review after I ate at the Foody Goody restaurant on Regent Avenue yesterday. The restaurant has gone downhill considerably with their food. I ordered the portion of Low mein, chicken balls and meatballs, with gravy and mushrooms. All I can say is, the meatballs and mushrooms were DISGUSTING.🤮 They tasted like bleach!! 🤢 The Low mein was quite dry/sticky. The chicken balls were horribly hard and dry. The fork couldn't even go through them, without it bouncing off your plate!😒 I've been here 3-4 times and it seems to be getting worse.🤢 Until another new owner might take this place over, I'd avoid this place. 😞

What terrible food. Alot is from a box and some is over cooked and dried out. No flavor and almost everything was luke warm to cold . Some items should not be on a chinese buffet , like dried out perogies, soggy French fries , and more.
Also the food is not kept at buffet temperature , asking for food poisoning.
Just a waste of money and so I'm warning you to be careful what you do.
Excellent and underrated - food is delicious (their fried chicken is stellar) and the price is unbeatable

I used to enjoy Foody…Goody for its huge selection, but this visit was disappointing. The place felt dirty and bad smell —old tape on glass, stained carpets, and grimy booths. The food was greasy and some dishes tasted off, even the consommé soup , drinks was with bad smell iced mixed. The bathroom was filthy with sticky floors and rust everywhere. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Buffet Chinese themed cuisine and deep fried overcooked American style heat lamp food. Disappointing in flavour and overall quality. Should have looked at the food selection before sitting down. “Chinese” themed food was limited and dishes were soggy, watered down but magically still loaded with salt. Don’t expect a refill on drink purchases. Pace yourself accordingly. One napkin per person, so don’t get messy. While waiting to be seated, I noticed a beautiful collage of photos labelled Dash ‘N’ Dine. This medley of photos of former patrons that ate and then skipped out without paying should have been a strong warning to stay away. $28.99 for a plate full of regret. Not sure how this place is still is in business. There must be better Chinese options in Winnipeg. Should have looked a little harder.
