I've ordered from Frankie's a few times and it has always been delicious! My last experience with them was above and beyond however: I have a gluten allergy and after a mixup when ordering through doordash a gluten version of my order was sent with the courier.
Frankie's realized this and called me to correct the situation before my original order had even arrived! At no extra cost and without my needing to ask they prepared the proper dish and deliveries it to me directly. This was on a Saturday night, but despite how busy restaurants are on weekends my replacement dish arrived literally within 5 minutes of my original order.
I have not received this level of professional care from a restaurant in years and cannot praise it enough. If you are gluten intolerant and gunshy about eating out as a result, I can personally say that their gluten free alternatives are delicious and the staffing really truly cares about it as well.
Thanks, Frankie's!
Good was prepared perfectly and tasted great. Great service and attention to needs when requested. Atmosphere was satisfying yet quaint with a pleasing surrounding of intimate decor. A pleasure to have eaten there with my gf.
2nd time visiting Frankie’s, second big hit. Great food, swell service and nice vibe!
Food was tasty enough. Had to ask for beverage refills but I guess we went at dinner and it was busy. Atmosphere was rather loud - like we had to almost yell to be heard talking at dinner (would be great to turn down the music and to have noise absorbing panels installed)
very good food and service
We knew it was going to be busy, made a reservation at 7pm. Atmosphere was great, busy and loud lol food is awesome! The beef carpaccio was our favorite! Wish the server could come check more often if we needed more drinks.
Excellent restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Their pizza and pasta are among the best in Winnipeg! 100% recommended!
I didn't eat but the place was packed and had a great atmosphere

Went for my niece's birthday and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, and our waiter was on top of his game with a great sense of humor. Would recommend for any occasion
Went there with a party of 8 and proceeded to get the worse service. Was checked up on exactly zero times, everyone had to be flagged down. Focaccia was missing and was asked for the response was like its being given as a favour. The whole time it felt like the server wanted to get rid of us asap or was just too busy flirting

Had a bad experience. The gluten free pasta was gritty and the chicken Alfredo was unseasoned and bland. We were charged the full price for our appetizers because we ordered them 5 minutes before happy hour. They refused to adjust the price when we asked.
Now just wait for the copy/pasted apology response...

Some of the best, if not the best, Italian food in the city. We ordered delivery through UE on a Sunday night.
Got the Joe Aiello to split with three people as an "appetizer", it was delicious, everybody liked it and the crust held up well on delivery even with it being a bit of a long drive. Quality toppings and cheese, not skimpy at all without being too much. Slices were also cut to be about the same size which is always nice when sharing.
Two of us got the casarecce boscaiola and it was perfect, perfectly cooked noodles and a delicious sauce that was rich but not too rich. The veal/beef mix and pancetta in it were excellent, as were the peas.
Our third got the rigatoni salsaccia -- also delicious, the flavour was complex and the Italian sausage was delicious. Brighter than the boscaiola with the fresh cherry tomatoes.
The free the bread that comes with the meal is also great and different. Comes with a little ramekin of balsamic and olive oil.
