Love this place, great authentic Chinese food from a family owned and Chinese trained chef and his family. Nice lots of great appetizers/salads with great sauces and too many great entrees including hot pot, hand pulled noodles, chinese stews and hand made dumplings. Definitely do not miss this one.

Been a few times and the food has been great every time. Tried the bbq most recently and it was so good!The cucumber salad was refreshing and flavourful, the braised pork rib stew was delicious and the meat melted in your mouth. The staff were friendly and suggested items for us to try. We tried the bbq lamb skewers and they were perfectly cooked and crisp.I’ve recommended the hand pulled noodles to everyone I know because they are to die for. The steam twisted rolls are a sleeper hit, seemingly reminding everyone of a dish from their childhood.At the end of every meal I start trying to think of who I know that I haven’t roped into going yet so I can introduce someone else to this easily overlooked gem.Parking: Parking available in front of building, a Safeway is nearby as well with a large parking lot a short walk away
Amazing flavours and a great variety of options! A staff member helped us choose a barbecue lamb skewer and it did not disappoint. We ordered braised pork rib stew and it is by far the most juicy, flavourful ribs I’ve had in my life. Definitely will come again!

Fu Lin restaurant unfortunately falls short in delivering a pleasant dining experience, primarily due to the behavior of its staff. Both the waitress and the owner exhibit a dismissive and disrespectful attitude towards patrons, significantly detracting from the overall ambiance. Customers expect a welcoming environment, but here, they are met with indifference and a lack of courtesy. Some absolutely amazing food. Personal recommendations are the fried sweet and sour pork, and the mung bean noodles. It has stayed delicious every time we go. Do keep in mind that it's run by just two people.
I just can’t believe we need wait for 1 hr for one dish. I mean you can just TELL me, you need time, almost one hour, rather than saying later each time I asked. And the server is extremely slow like I asked her to have an ice tea, she take it for me spend 30 min.

Was I in the same restaurant as the 5star reviews? I am confused!One of the garlic sauce dishes was incredibly salty that there was no way it could be eaten. I sent it back and there was no charge. Service was meh- she gave a menu and delivered food, but no friendliness, no checking in. The cook and herself were loud with each other, it was like I wasn't there. The disorganization of the kitchen is sitting in piles in the restaurant. The bigger issue was when after I ate and was waiting, looking around at the window sills and the window into the kitchen and all the peeling paint and DEAD BUGS? Seriously, hundreds, not an exaggeration. When was the last time a health inspector was in? I will NOT walk back in there again, no way. So dirty. If I had paid attention instead of dealing with phone texts before ordering, I would have definitely walked out. So many other options out there to choose from.

Absolutely worst attitude I have ever seen. The owner looks like he's gonna beat you every time you talk to them. He'd also call you "retarded" or "stupid f***" if you just simply ask nicely of how big a portion is. The tables are sticky and greasy, Food is not as good as reputation. Definitely not a place that is worthy of any money or time.

Service is 0 star. Never ask us how the food was, the water taste gross, the wooden chopstick so old and dent, the bowl was sticky. This was really bad experience. We ordered soup but there was no bowl or spoon, 2 tiny pieces of napkin. The cook and the server were so loud talking like no one in the restaurant. Yelling back and forth from the front to the kitchen like what???
