I moved back to Winnipeg, and some of the best sushi I’ve ever had has been at this restaurant.
The food is amazing. The portion sizes are huge. And the staff are extremely friendly.

Ordered here from Uber eats and it was terrible. Everything tasted the same in the family platter. The sauce was strange looking, and the yam roll was just deep fried yams. Overall the meal felt heavy and unappetizing.

Only open for pick up, this worked in our favour as it would have been difficult to leave. Good selection, great ingredients and wonderful staff! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back to try more. We selected 6 rolls, the assorted tempura and bulgogi and all were amazing!

This is THE best sushi I've had in Winnipeg so far. Crazy roll is my favorite. Everything so fresh. Big chunks of avocado. Generous serving. So happy I discovered this spot. Delivery or take out. Ordered 5 times - great everytime...annnd they add a free sushi pizza to your order - love it.

Gangnam Sushi is a take-out restaurant. I especially prefer Family Box A. All the other menus are delicious, but the reason why I prefer Family Box A is cost-effective and really delicious. If you like sushi, I recommend you to order it.

Food was not good. All rolls were mushy - the overcooked rice was the likely culprit, but crunchy elements (shrimp/tempura) were also soggy. Fish had a weird aftertaste - as if the fresh salmon was too near the smoked too long. Too much sauce on the rolls.
On the plus side the portions were large, the filling ratio was generous, and the prices were good. Service was also very fast. It couldn't make up for the bad taste though.

they dont have dine-in which was too bad, but otherwise the atmosphere was fine. The staff was very friendly, and polite. We got a free veggie sushi pizza, i assume based on how much we spent.
We got mostly veg rolls, and they are hearty and very filling! The veggie tempura was an indulgent decision, because i didnt expect there to be as much as there was! Wow! So good! I also love when tempura has acorn squash in it. Not just wet zucchini lol, their zucchini was not wet btw.
Very pleased with our experience here.
