Went last night and loved it. Had the pork belly, roasted carrots, scallop risotto, and the dark chocolate brownie for dessert, and all were excellent. Service was great and I always appreciate restaurants where they ask about allergies at the very start, since I have a fish allergy.

Not all restaurants located at tourist destinations are great. But Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar at The Leaf is wonderful.

Fresh food, fun menu and a beautiful venue. The tall ceilings allow you have a private conversation even when the restaurant is full. It's great for casual gatherings or business meetings. This would be a great venue for a networking or holiday event.

Dishes ordered from the menu:

Smoked pork belly, fried potato rösti, sous vide egg, brown butter hollandaise, chili sweet potato aioli | $19

This dish was delicious. Salty and savoury, it was a discussion piece. The fried potato rösti was a highlight.

Coconut korma curry, sweet pepper chutney, charred cauliflower, sweet potato, jasmine rice, toasted cashew, yogurt, chili threads | $24. Options to add: chicken $8 | soy curls $8

This dish was ok. The soy curls didn't add much depth to the dish, and the texture was disappointing.

Vegetarian options: The Coconut Korma Curry was good, but I'd avoid the soy curls. They were off-putting.

Fantastic first experience. Ainsley was a great and personable server with wonderful recommendations and prompt service. Food was delicious, and the coffee outstanding. Beautiful interior design as well. Will definitely be back!

Oh man, that duck poutine is to die for. It's not called a poutine on the menu but it basically is one. The gravy is the richest most tastiest one I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I will literally dream about it. Eating here was pricy but you could 100% taste why it was priced the way it was. Felt worth it to me 100%. Staff was absolutely wonderful too.

We went here for our anniversary and the food and cocktails were delicious. We had the roasted carrots, pork tenderloin and the beef short rib ragu.

Highly recommended, can't wait to dine at Gather again!

Our server recommended for us to try the roasted carrots on the small plates menu. At first I was skeptical because the dish wasn’t on my radar at the time. But I like to try what the staff like so I ordered the carrots. In the end I had 2 orders of the carrots.

Excellent meal, great service and a cool location.

Visited Gather a few weeks ago and was blown away. High class dining for an extremely reasonable price.

The atmosphere was wonderful - comfortable furnishings, lighting lending itself well to an intimate dinner, and excellent sound management (even with an open kitchen!!) so I could actually hear my partner across the table. The service was seamless and thoughtful. And of course the food was incredible. Beautifully presented plates of fresh flavours and innovative combinations. I will be back as I need to try every dish on this menu!

My partner and I shared the Grilled Focaccia, Smoked Pork Belly Fried Potato Rösti, the Roasted Carrots, and the Beef Short Rib Ragu, we both had a drink, and we shared the Dark Chocolate Brownie for dessert and would highly recommend everything.

Perfect stop after enjoying the botanical garden. Great service and food. Lamb was excellent. Cocktails and wine list were okay.

Service and atmosphere were awesome. Some food items are great but some were okay. I’d recommend the Lagu beef pasta & the mussels. Butter chicken didn’t hit the spot and the rice was kind of undercooked. Overall 4/5.

Where to begin, everything was simply incredible! You can't go wrong with one thing on this menu. Tonya showed us the best service I have ever had which made my parents anniversary dinner truly unforgettable. Our favourites were the short rib on polenta, and the scallops with risotto. This is on the top list in the city, and so nice to have in the park.

As someone that spends way too much money on food this is one of my new favorite spots in town. I was blown away by not only the quality of the food but the servers understanding of each dish.

We went with a large group that was quite frankly pretty demanding , our server Jess did her best to navigate the bizarre and varied requests of the people we were dining with.

I think a few more vegetarian options would be nice but I will leave that to the fabulous chefs .
