I expected more... A larger assortment, but my opinion is very subjective, because I compared it with Dunkirk (France), where I lived for 2 years and got used to the delights in seafood...
Very small, clean establishment. Picked up two pieces fresh raw skinless salmon, one medium size bag and one small size bag of raw frozen shrimp, and a small bag of frozen scallops. Prices are for sure more expensive than the local grocery store, over $80!! But I'd consider going back for salmon and scallops. All of it was so tender and delicious in my homemade chowder! I wish the freezers had bigger labels. But, the staff were friendly and helpful to find what I needed.
We have been going to Gimli Fidh on zpembina Hwy, bear Grant, for over 30 years. They have the best fish and seafood, both fresh and frozen. We always take advantage of their sales. Staff are friendly and efficient. The store works well. They are frequently upgrading fridges, freezers etc.
