Good service and atmosphere. I had a double burger, the total came to over $15 with a $2 tip. The size was small compared to other places nearby. I was not even full after eating it. An equally priced burger from Georges or Superboys takes me 3 times as long to eat and fills me up. The old Blondies was much more satisfying :(

Amazing food. Burger patty tastes like a hand made patty and not frozen. Poutine was sent with the gravy on the side which is great for delivery. Fries were crispy and not soggy. 100% will be back.

Great food and great service! I bought 2 burgers, large fries, 2 milkshakes, and a chicken finger meal. It was all ready within 20 minutes, and the whole family loved it. When I paid for the meal my hands were very full so I was helped to my car and the owner even opened the door to my car so I could get in without trouble. Excellent service..

Interesting to be back in the old Blondie’s spot—a personal favourite from my youth. I came in curious, and decided it was time to try their Golden Boy Burger. First impressions? The lemonade is utterly fantastic—clearly homemade.
Update: Holy moly… this burger is so good. Everything tastes fresh—the ingredients are top quality, the fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy, and that lemonade? A standout. I honestly felt slightly healthier eating this burger 😂
Also, shoutout to the owner—super friendly and passionate about every step of his food. We had a great chat about how much care he puts into what he serves. You can really taste the difference.

My girlfriend and I finally made time to stop in at Golden Boy this afternoon (June 21) around 5:30. We were greeted by the owner like we were old friends. Surprisingly, we were the only people in the whole place. I got the chili cheeseburger with a milkshake. Girlfriend got the Golden Boy burger. We shared a poutine. The chili on my burger was unlike any chili at any other burger place in this city. It was tasty, with just the right amount of spice, and colorful, like it was freshly made. The milkshake was the perfect consistency and came with a large diameter straw, so I could actually drink it! The bacon on the Golden Boy was fresh and cut up, not crumbly at all. Poutine was 10/10, with plenty of gravy and real Bothwell cheese curds. Two hours later, we’re both still full. The owner chatted with us for a while, and by the time we walked out, we felt like old friends. 100% recommend Golden Boy Bistro! If you haven’t been here yet, go. If you have, go again!
