One small order of noodles costs 20$. Let that information sink in for a second.
I do not recommend anyone buy from this place because this restaurant is clearly ripping people off “in my opinion”
As a Canadian I have travelled a lot and have never encountered such prices over simple dishes.
This is my honest opinion and review for this establishment.
Had the #6 soup noodle bowl with thick noodles and brisket.
Brisket was just chunks of fat/gristle. The thick noodles were super doughy and tasted like raw dough and zero flavor. The broth kinda smelt like dishwater. It was absolutely the worst bowl of noodles I've ever had. The few of us took a few bites and paid and left.
Theres a lot of noodle places in Winnipeg that are exponentially better than this.
The food here is amazing. Try the oil splashing noodles (#17). The cold cucumber dish is to die for (and healthy too!). Highest recommendation.
Fresh and tasty!
I go here often and it is always good, we often get new things on the menu and it has never disappointed.
We had a good dining experience at Golden Loong, the hand pulled noodles have that nice chewy texture to it and the chilli oil adds that fragrant and a bit spicy kick to it, mapo tofu was also good though a tad salty when it was not as hot but perfect with rice, the lamb with pickled veggies in sour broth is perfect in this cold weather, pork bun would have been better if the pork was not so sloppy and the bun should be a bit more toasted on the bottom but otherwise good as well, cucumber in chilli oil is a perfect accompaniment to all of these as it cools down and refreshes the pallete.
We would definitely come back and try out the other dishes, highly recommended!
Mostly wide noodles with very little chicken and it looks nothing like the picture. The takeout box was full of dry wide noodles, a few sprouts and minute pieces of chicken. The beef was the same and it was so tough we couldnt chew it. If I wanted a giant container of 99% noodles I could buy it for $4.00 in the store.
This place never disappoints. Every time I visit Winnipeg, this has been a goto place for us
Expensive
Amazing food. There were three of us, and We had mapo tofu and beef noodle soup. All wonderful. And took almost half of it home. Very authentic Xian style food. Highly recommended.

If you can eat very spicy food, then you should order the extra hot option; otherwise, you may not find it spicy enough. Seafood noodles is quite good.

Be sure to avoid thunder and spicy noodles! The Roujiamo, Liangpi and Youpo noodles are delicious, but the sour noodles are too unpalatable. The soup tastes like shabu-shabu water and the sourness is pitiful. It’s like leftover soup with some noodles added. . The boiled pork intestines are very clean, and the mutton with fresh peppers is also okay. They are all useless. From now on, I will just eat Roujiamo Liangpi!
