I ordered an Strawbery Peach cake to celebrate with my family at Aug 23, 2025 and scheduled to pick up on Aug 27, 2025. When I tried to cut the cake in the same evening, I found out the outer layer of the cream was craked, making the cake look like it had been sitting out for a long time and wasn't even fresh at all. Then, as I cut into the cake, I noticed that the cream and the cake layers were seprating from each other, which made the texture feeling off. On top of that, the cake it self was too dry which made it even harder to enjoy. What make things worse is that I found a black hair-like object inside the cake after I cut it.
I've been visited this place before and had a good experience, but this time was a huge let down. I had hoped for a nice cake to celebrate with my family, but this experience was very disappointing. I was expected much better quality from this shop.

First time shopping at Goodies, the displays are filled with so many tempting options!
Picked 6 different treats. Service was basic.
I was very disappointed that two of the items purchased were 4 days old!! Two of the other items were 2 days old, which is borderline questionable for me. The other two items didn’t have dates, so I have no idea how old they were. I would expect that a popular bakery would sell only freshly made goods. I would never buy 4 day old anything if I had known this was what Goodies sells. The employee just placed the items in the bag and then I saw the tiny date stickers on the bottom when I got home. Shocking and disappointing considering the items were $6.50 each.
I won’t buy from Goodies again.
The 4 items that had date stickers on them were Carrot Cake; Raspberry cheesecake brownie; Hello Dolly; Turtle square.

We had our wedding yesterday and bought our cake from Goodies Bake Shop. Everyone loved it. We loved it. For me it was THEE BEST cake I have ever had in all my years, it was like having a little taste of heaven. It definitely was the cherry on top of my wedding day. I had received a custom cake from here and was quite disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful cake. However, the cake itself was dry and somewhat bland. I’ve previously ordered a custom cake and had the same issue with it being dry, assuming it was a fluke.
I’ve ordered the ready made cakes and desserts countless times without issue, they’re delicious and moist (hence the 3 stars). But their custom cakes have been a let down twice now.
I will always support this bakery, they truly have some delicious desserts, but I would consider other options when it comes to custom cakes.

Buy your cakes somewhere else because when I was there this weekend and talked to the supervisor she's ain't helping me. All of the options that I mentioned to have my grandkids a cake for their birthdays was ignored. You lost another regular customer.

Ive ordered several custom cakes, nothing but amazement everytime as it always looks like exactly what I asked for while also tasting absolutely delicious. My only note thus far is you have to provide accessories if the cake needs them, such as flowers etc. However the manager is very easy to get ahold of for questions and payment. Mini cakes are always soooo delicious.
