GrandDonut Cafe & Bakery

I love the apple fritters and was surprised to find the walnut crunch (chocolate rectangular with walnuts). The donuts are generous in size and fillings (for the most part). The coffee was good. I haven't tried any if the Vietnamese food yet.

Everything is great at the grand cafe except for one thing. The women's toilet seat has been broken for over 3 weeks and I have reported it several times and it still has not been repaired it is actually Very dangerous to sit on as you could slide right off with the toilet seat please have it repaired other than that your staff is great and your baking is awesome and so is the other food that I have tried.

Good donuts. A smidge overpriced, but better than premade Timmy's. The real deal here is the Banh Mi. One of the best in Winnipeg. They frequently run out of toppings due to demand and only make a certain amount every day.

Vietnamese subs are a good size again after previously shrinking in size and increasing in price. Still a bit smaller than before but definitely a reasonable offering. The donuts are very good but triple the price of Tim Hortons (they are a bit bigger). Overall good food and friendly service.

Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had! Light, fluffy, and nice and big! Would highly recommend driving the extra minute to Grand Donuts instead of Tim’s for way better quality and flavour, and of course to support local 🫶🏼

The pork banh mi is amazing. The donuts 10/10

This is a hard one. The doughnut I had was good, but the service was lacking, especially with us being the only people in the store. The drinks are definitely lacking. The peach iced tea is more like dirty sink water with so much ice and tang powder that you are drinking the juice crystals. The real taro milk tea was okay, but the boba were weird. Nothing here was fabulous or over the top. Not to mention, the staff member was reusing disposable gloves. I will not be returning.
