I was there for a holiday lunch. I guess I chose the wrong dish because mine was not great. We had to serve ourselves more water

The soup salad sourdough lunch combo was superb! It was exceeded my expectations. Best tomato soup in the city!! And I don't usually like tomato soup.
It was amazing experience for the first time trying Italian cuisine. As an Indian I love trying different cuisine and my love for pizza and pasta has always been eternal. Kaitlyn was amazing and she went through whole menu in a very engaging manner. As a vegetarian and a person who doesn’t drink, there were some options which were confusive, but Kaitlyn made it all clear. It was a bit expensive but it was worth trying. Aracini, pasta and pizza were authentic Italian and the ambience of the restaurant was also stupendous.
All in all it was great experience and will definitely visit next time🙌🏻😌♥️

I had a very poor experience with Sam recently. She was quite rude while assisting us and serving our table. I understand that it gets busy but there is no need for such a poor attitude.

We visited Guato North before a Jets game. In previous years, we've found the music in the restaurant to be super loud. This time was quite a bit better. The menu has not changed at all, but the food is good.
First visit before concert, our waitress was very friendly and helpful/knowledgeable with the menu; identifying plant based options. I had the vegam funato pizza, my sister had the 887. It was good. It is a small restaurant and before the concert was packed by the time we left. It was so loud that you could hardly hold a conversation.

Have been to this location a few times before (a couple times for large work events and a couple times with friends) - all good experiences. Lively atmosphere, great food and amazing customer service! We sat at the bar this time to eat and drink, celebrating my partner's birthday before attending a Jets game and we were often checked on by the friendly staff - literally every person we saw asked us if we needed anything. Being able to watch the bar and kitchen staff work was impressive! It's easy to see how much they put into their job and how efficient they are while remaining friendly and smiling. Only minor critiques I would say is that the ricotta appetizer needs to come with enough bread, even basic drinks are pricey, and customers should be prepared for how very loud (talking noise) it is in there with such a big open space. Regardless, Gusto North is an awesome place and I will continue to come back with hopes to get the same friendly/amazing staff every time!
Awesome!! All around
We were welcomed at the Front by Sam (apparently the Manager) and escorted to our table. We had made reservations using OpenTable (we did not make mention on the booking site as to it being our 45th wedding anniversary) We were warmly greeted by Hanna who described our drink orders as they were unfamiliar to us and took our order for an Entree (you call a Primi). The drinks were delivered promptly and the Calamari arrived shortly after. The calamari was perfectly prepared and the two sauces were the perfect accompaniment. Hanna checked in with us, and as it was still a little slow enquired about why we had chosen Gusto North. We said that it was our 45th anniversary. She took our orders for Mains. I chose the Piccata Lobster, my wife chose the Pesce Bianco. Hanna informed us that her shift was over and she was handing us over to Lily. Lily came by shortly after and introduced herself and said our Mains would arrive shortly. A super nice touch, which I did not see done at the other tables, but, they placed a plate in front of each of us and placed the mains in between us, which allowed us to share. Super sweet and very attentive to detail. Sam came by and said that she had been informed of our anniversary and wished us well. My Piccata was very good, the sauce was amazing and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My wife did find the sauce to be a little spicy but the Addolcirmi (her drink) was refreshing and cooling. The Pesce Bianco exceeded the Piccata. The flesh on the Halibut was glistening, moist and very well cooked. The Risotto was one of the best I have had, the rice grains were separate and cooked al dente. The mouth feel was delightful and the pea shoots gave a burst of vibrancy. The kitchen has to be commended as the food was served hot, was masterfully prepared and plated, and portion size was great. This dining experience was the best we have had since our return from Portugal last year. Thank you

Great service, exceptional food and drinks for our business meal. Definitely will return. Cavolo salad and pizzas/pastas were all very well liked.
Pizzeria Gusto on Academy Road is hands down one of Winnipeg’s best dining spots. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, inviting, and stylish, perfect for both a casual evening or a special night out.
The food is outstanding! Every dish is crafted with care and incredible flavor. The Gamberi alla Diavola had just the right kick, and the pizzas are some of the best you’ll find anywhere, the Margherita with olives and peppers was perfection with its thin, crisp crust and rich, authentic toppings. The Crudo di Tonno was another highlight, beautifully presented and delicious.
To finish, the Affogato was a simple yet elegant dessert that tied everything together.
Service was excellent throughout the evening. Our server, Lauren, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for an elevated yet approachable dining experience in Winnipeg, Pizzeria Gusto is a must-visit. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently top-notch truly a gem on Academy Road.

Service was great. Drinks were delicious. Most of the food was really tasty, except for the gluten free pizza. Very disappointing as it was presented as very delicious on your website. The crust was dry and tasteless. The toppings weren't much better to add any type of flavor. Ambiance was nice though super loud.
The atmosphere and service was excellent. We sat at the bar and our server was very knowledgable and recommended wonderful tasting wine. We ordered lobster pasta and it was excellent. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the side order of bread. I assumed we would get bread with oil to dip, but the bread was toasted over the grill. The first was burnt and the second wasn't burnt, but still tasted like it was. We certainly would go back.
The calamari was over salted and the chicken cutlet was like it had been cooked an recooked and was so dark and overcooked. Service was immature at best
