The food is phenomenal and the cook is a busy guy who works well under pressure. The server is unprofessional and slow. No welcoming when you come in, no acknowledgement that she will be right there with you, finally came and took our order , then said it will be a whole as we are busy. There was 11 people and some were already eating. Get a new server and it would be the best ever!!
Hambo's is a great little diner for simple foods with a quiet atmosphere. Service was nice and friendly and the food is fresh. Chef was cutting potatoes for the hash browns as we sat.
Stumbled upon this authentic Anishnawbe home cooking restaurant. It’s a hidden little gem “hole in the wall” find! Very good atmosphere with diner seating and very clean. Simple and absolutely delicious home cooking with generous portions. I had the Indian taco and the bread was perfect! Great seasoning but still just a great taco. The soup and bannock reminded me of home. Miigwetch to a lovely Kwe for such a great meal.
