Beef and mushrooms as terrible. Looked like canned mushrooms plus the breaded veal tasted horrible
Are there any good Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg? I ordered to go and my take out container was half full.

Dish prices are same or If not higher from all Chinese places. Now they say oh new owner so you don’t get rice with your order anymore. 60$ for 3 dishes and they can’t include rice? Definitely will look for a new place to order from.

So we walked in and tables were filthy, no Napkins on table Kleenex available instead, 3 kids playing. But we decided to stay. Service was terrible and we never got checked on and food took forever to make it to table, constant flow of skip and dash food leaving and pick ups....now I understand why...
THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC!! We each had a combo 3 and it was delicious. The Chope Suey was literally best I have had in the city!! Thw chicken balls were meaty and little batter and so tasty, the veal was fantastic and the rice was wonderful!!! The egg rolls needed to be crisper, but the flavour was on point.
My suggestion is get take away or order in, but going here for dinner is something you should not do. They were working so hard as 2 in back and 1 out front and running food so all were busy and it wad the servers kids in there and they were not badly behaved, but were just being kids. Get the food, not the eat in experience.

Ordered delivery from here. The food was tasteless and the chicken was boiled and overly chewy. Will not order again. I am disappointed

Waited over an hour for pre ordered food, restaurant was filled with others waiting for their orders as well. Safe to say we left hungry
We’ve ordered Chinese food from this restaurant in the past and it was amazing!
This time we ordered for delivery on New Years Eve and waited 2 hours past the promised delivery time which is probably understandable but the food was absolutely horrible…,among other dishes we had a “beef “and greens dish but the “beef” was some slimy soft unidentifiable substitute ….don’t waste your money here there are plenty of Chinese restaurants in our city with a more consistent product!!

I ordered here for the first time and it was the worst. It's a 3-minute drive from the restaurant to my house, but the food was not hot and tasteless. I ordered 6 dishes, especially Sesame Chicken, for the children, was the worst because it was soggy and smelly. I couldn't give it to my children, so I took it to the restaurant, but the female owner turned the food over with the lid and told me that's normally like that, so I just brought it home and threw it away.
Also over $55 order, free fried rice/dry wonton, they missed for us. I told about that she was sneer at me. I don't need that free one but everything was very disappointed and waste money.

Restaurantji Recommends
Terrible customer service, don’t understand English - makes it very difficult to communicate. We ordered a LARGE order (over $500) for New Year’s Eve and waited 1.5 hours for our food past our designated pick up time. By the time we went to eat it everything was cold. Everyone was upset as we were waiting and they couldn’t even offer a discount. Our fried rice turned sour in 2 days and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like metal. Called to complain and it was VERY difficult to communicate or get any help. They can’t get any orders right. Would not recommend this place to anyone. New management is clearly doing something wrong. Would give 0 starts if I could.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever ordered. Which was unfortunate as I was greatly looking forward to some tasty food. One of the chicken dishes was so bad, I had to throw it out. The rest of the dishes barely had any flavour, almost like they didn't taste like anything. I wonder if there have been new owners recently? This restaurant had some decent reviews but I noticed recently they've gone downhill.

We ordered this for a work event. Everyone was quite disappointed with the food. There wasn’t much taste to it, and the fryer oil definitely needed to be changed as the chicken balls smelled like fish. We spent over $200 on food and many of it wasn’t eaten because it wasn’t enjoyable.
The food got to us quite quickly.

I wish I looked at the recent reviews for Hao Hao. I would not have ordered. My first time ordering and my last. Ordered Mooshi and they gave me only 1 tiny pack of hoisin for 5 pancakes. When I called to find out why such a tiny amount of sauce… the woman said something in combined Chinese/English I couldn’t understand…The pancakes were ok but the rest was not good at all. Food was for the most part tasteless. Stay away.
Not sure how to review this establishment. Nothing was ready for the arranged pick up time!! The food was terrible and cold. Like nothing was the same as we’ve ordered before. Not sure what’s going on. But will never go again! No thanks
