This was the worst tasting Chinese food I've had in my 50+ yrs. Both the egg Foo Young and black bean were bland and mushyšŸ˜. chicken balls had barely any chicken and all the batter tasted like pancake mix.

Thought we would try Hao Hao. Big mistake. We had it delivered and it arrived hot, but the food was just plain bad. The chicken balls are not made from real chicken…no idea what was inside what they call chicken balls. The fried rice was inedible….how can you screw up fried rice? The containers that the food came in are awesome….but that’s about it. So no incentive for us to try Hao Hao ever again….we can buy good reusable containers at Walmart for a lot less money.

This restaurant demonstrated a critical failure in operational management. Upon arrival, I witnessed numerous delivery drivers (SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, DoorDash) experiencing excessive delays waiting for hours. The staff's inability to communicate effectively in English, coupled with their complete lack of empathy or apology, was deeply unprofessional. The fact that these drivers received no compensation for their wasted time is an egregious oversight. It's evident this establishment is accepting more orders than it can handle, resulting in a blatant disregard for the time and livelihoods of those providing delivery services. Immediate and comprehensive operational improvements are imperative.

4 hours waiting for a delivery. At this point it doesn't matter if the food is good or not. Do not order from this joke of an establishment.

Door dashed my order and it took 2½ hours for the doordasher to recieve it (was the 4th door dasher the others had reassigned). Sadly most of it is cool (i microwaved it)🄲. Door dasher said there was like 5 others also waiting for their orders in line. I don't recommend ordering the day before a major holiday šŸ™.

Edited to add*

Also my chicken fried rice has no seasoning (it's just white rice with vegetables and chicken laid on top). Don't order on Christmas eve they forgot the seasonings 🄲🄲🄲🄲

They cancelled our order 2 hours after ordering because they were too busy. Stop taking orders earlier if you can’t handle the business.

This is a simple location with friendly service and very good food at modest prices. It has fully earned its name Hao Hao (ā€œGood Goodā€)
Note that there is no lunch buffet at this time, but interesting and varied Combination plates are offered on the very extensive menu.

Quite possibly the worst food I have ever eaten. Mmm a pile of chicken mush, just what I wanted! And don’t try and say it’s not up to my preference or just my taste, everyone in these reviews is saying the same thing about the sesame chicken. Take a little advice, might actually get you customers.

Awful food! ! Deluxe wonton soup wontons tasted like old grease and the broth was tasteless!
Chicken in chicken balls doesn’t look or taste like chicken. It’s translucent- like. Gross. No taste. Awful texture!
The only thing that was fresh were vegetables in the deluxe veggies but again the meat tasted like nothing!
How can everything be so bad and tasteless? Worst Chinese food I’ve had in my life and I’ve had a lot!! The dishes do NOT look like the pictures on their website!
I will never order from here again!

It’s the best Chinese restaurant out here in Winnipeg. Been to every Chinese restaurant and so far this is the best. The foods amazing. The hot honey beef and chicken are a must to try along with squid with spicy salt.

We ordered chicken chow mien , the meat was disgusting . Not sure if it is in fact part of a chicken at all.

Ordered online and received the worst Chinese food ever had in Winnipeg. Definitely not worth it. Super disappointed with the quality of the food. Every dish was bland with no seasoning.
Ginger beef - over cooked, couldn’t even bit it - like leather.
Fried chicken - not Chinese chicken at all. Was cut up and then fried so much that there was no chicken left.
Special fried rice - they forgot to add any rice to it - was all noodles with maybe a tablespoon of rice!
Special chow mien tasted like they boiled it all together and then put in container
Mooshi was the worst ever had - super bland!
