VERY BAD SERVICE. THEY WILL INSIST ON LETTING YOU PAY FOR AN INCORRECT ORDER THEY PREPARED. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. THEY WOULD REALLY FIGHT AGAINST YOU AS A CUSTOMER FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKE!!!! AS I READ THROUGH THE REVIEWS...IT DID NOT HAPPEN ONLY ONCE BUT MANY TIMES!!! VERY VERY BAD PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESS!!!

I come here occasionally for their cheese foam series since it’s their specialty! I’ve noticed throughout the years that their portions have diminished. Their tapioca serving barely covers the bottom of the boba cup, it’s less than other bubble tea places for sure.

Their service is consistently great in store but with rising drink costs, they should at least maintain the same portion size for their drink items. I would still come here once in a while for their cheese foam drinks but definitely not a regular boba spot for me to drop by at. Spending $8.73 for a large (regular) size drink with almost half of what other places offer when you ask for tapioca topping isn’t a good look for any establishment, especially a chain!

Just something to keep in mind, Happy Lemon might be able to get more 5 star ratings if you keep more of a consistent quality for your items!

One of the best bubble tea places in Winnipeg, they have the most toppings, so many to choose from, really.

I love the rewards program, and that they let you combine cards when you forget to bring them in.

I wish they wouldn't charge more for non dairy options.

Absolutely obsessed with this bubble tea! 🧋💕 The pearls are so chewy and perfect, and the drink is just the right amount of sweet.

I'll never order here again. I ordered a taro slush in the 2L bag to share between our family and the business refused to give us cups. We've ordered this before and never had issues but today they were very rude and the customer service was absolutely horrible. For $26 dollars you can provide cups!

I often get a mango yogurt Slushie, recently I asked someone if they could add Matcha it is amazing tasting to me! The girl and guy that are working tonight are always fantastic I especially love the girl and most of the staff but there is one guy that is there sometimes that gives me mixed messages about charging me extra for Matcha everytime telling me I have to pay for Matcha it is very expensive,no one ever charges me as I have been going there almost daily for yrs. I feel he is on a power trip as I asked him if he was the manager he said no,so I'm not sure why everyday that I go he has to say something to me about itI I do love Happy lemon St James is the best Boba Tea In Winnipeg!

There was nothing bad about it. it just wasn't for me. My colleague gave it a 5/5, though, so to each their own!

Even if my drink had been good, and it wasn't, I don't recommend this place at all. WAY TOO MUCH SINGLE USE PLASTIC AND PLASTIC WASTE. Plastic straw in a plastic wrapper, plastic cup, plastic lid, plastic sticker.

They take a long time. They also dont have as good drinks as garden city boba tea place. Made my girlfriend very sad that their flavour wasn't as good as the one in garden city :( they also forgot to give us our waffles :c

I ordered a half & half bubble waffle through DoorDash and it came softly sloppy, curled and mashed. The inside was undercooked, and the outside wasn’t crispy AT ALL. Called the store, they didn’t pick up. Came to the problem solving on DoorDash, they gave me back $5 for a $9 plus tax item. Disappointed. Never again.

All these businesses opting for mandatory tipping. That's ridiculous. Tipping for what? I spent all of 8 minutes in there and you want a 15% tip.

Our new favorite place to go for bubble tea. The stamp card is a very good idea. If you always buy bubble tea like us, you get a free drink after 10 orders. Who doesn't like free! ?

Called to ask if there were any vegan milk options and I was told there were and that I could select them online. I was searching through all the delivery options they have but that didn't have any animal-free products despite them saying otherwise over the phone.
