Cozy, nice caffe. I like the atmosphere - it was quiet and the personal was nice and welcoming. The coffee was delicious as well as lemon tart and macaron. I will definitely go there again.

This is a nice little place with good service! Their baked goods look delicious and artistic, although we didn't try any. The hot drinks were good. I would say the prices were quite typical for a coffee shop. It's located right by St. James Chiropractic (also recommended), so we stopped in before our appointments.

I stopped by high tea for an after lunch break and must say that it was an excellent experience overall. It is located on portage Avenue in Saint James in a very good location. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The selection was very good as well with white assortment of cookies, pastries, brownies, as well as Espresso, latte, cappuccino, and hot chocolate. The decor was very nicely done – no attention to detail was spared!. They were receiving for about 10 to 15 people inside. Very nice, quiet environment. That’s easy to talk to for guests. The prices are very good as well – many of the items I purchased were less than $1.50 each which was a pleasant surprise.Free, street parking is available. I highly recommend this place – very enjoyable experience.

A very cozy place, tasty pastries and great tea selection with excellent staffs. I recommend the peachy Macaroons (I don't recall the official name) for those who like a lemon kick to their sweets.😊

I have not eaten here yet, but I am watching the xmas special on WBTv featuring the owner and their cookies look and sound delicious. Crystallized ginger for themed sugar cookies is a great idea -- and I like the idea of the future of xmas being a celebration of diverse cultures under a unifying holiday spirit. Your imperial cookies look delicious and I hope someday to visit and try them.

Sent a couple of boxes of Halloween-themed mini-Imperial cookies to friends in Alberta and BC to rave reviews. "Their packaging is impeccable." "They taste like cookie heaven." Manitoba cultural victory!

Their small imperials are simply the best.

Came in to the bakery 3/17 and bought a few cookies. Oh my goodness how delicious!!! So flavorful. A suggestion though on the service. A smile goes a long way. You could cut the tension as soon as I walked in. I felt that I shouldn't even be there. There were 3 girls at the counter and barely a smile or acknowledgment from any one of them , and not very friendly. No thank you and felt like I was an inconvenience. A few of my friends have been here too over the years and same experience. The items offered are top notch, but if the service matched that- this place would be absolutely amazing. Would love to have a different experience the next time I come in and update my review with a five star rating.
