Hand crafted cookies and sweets.
Came in to the bakery 3/17 and bought a few cookies. Oh my goodness how delicious!!! So flavorful. A suggestion though on the service. A smile goes a long way. You could cut the tension as soon as I walked in. I felt that I shouldn't even be there. There were 3 girls at the counter and barely a smile or acknowledgment from any one of them , and not very friendly. No thank you and felt like I was an inconvenience. A few of my friends have been here too over the years and same experience. The items offered are top notch, but if the service matched that- this place would be absolutely amazing. Would love to have a different experience the next time I come in and update my review with a five star rating.
Cute shop with little sweet treats , cookies , clean with nice service . Suggestion to use a barrista oat milk it makes such a nicer late . Then I’d definitely come back !
Great little place upstairs I recommend it
It’s only sweets and coffee and tea
This is not a lunch place
Great selection of danties. Best cupcakes and imperial cookies in the city.
The employees are awesome. I walk my dog past here all the time and we stop in to grab a coffee and some sweets, can’t recommend enough!
On the weekend we saw their Instagram post talking up their Imperial lattes. The post said they were open till 5:00, but thankfully we looked online to see that they closed at 4:00 p.m.. When we walked into the bakery at 3:40 and ordered our lattes, we were told that they close down the coffee bar 15 minutes before they close. She glanced at her watch and then said sometimes 20. When I mentioned that we had just driven from East Kildonan just so we can try their Imperial lattes, I got a dead stare and then the suggestion that Joe Black's down the street is open. So while this place has terrible service, I can fully recommend Joe Black's. They were right. That was a great place.
100% one of my favourite bakeries in the city. Always made to feel like staff know me personally.
Today they gave me a cookie to try that they had out for the first day. It was beyond delicious and they were happy about the feedback. We also chatted about different flavours of macarons and lamingtons from the past and the possibility of bringing some of those back
I can’t even begin to say how impressed I am with High Tea Bakery and specifically Aynsley. We ordered some items for our wedding dessert table and Aynsley was amazing to work with. We ordered mini imperials, macarons and cupcakes and it was all impeccable. Aynsley understood my vision from the very beginning. I only wish I could have ordered all my items from them but there were a few items they couldn’t provide which is too bad because the other bakery I had to use didn’t even come close the providing the quality and service I received from High Tea Bakery.

Famous for their Imperial cookies. I love the cardamom caramel ones; actually I love all their cookies! And their scones.
