The dining service, food and atmosphere here is BEYOND outstanding. We had Wakame Salad, Agedashi tofu, and spring rolls to start.
The Tofu and Spring rolls were out of this world. And to elaborate the oil they used to deep fry these items was extremely clean. (I would even believe freshly changed). The color was the most perfect golden yellow, not to over done, not to underdone. Literally Perfect.
We ordered some Veggie rolls and I had the Riding Mountain Roll.
The Riding Mountain Roll melted in my mouth. The flavors so well balanced and the rice so delicate you would think a surgeon put your sushi rolls together.
I have never experienced sushi in Winnipeg this good. The amount of time it took for the appetizers to come out and for the main dishes to follow shortly after was outstanding.
The Service was outstanding, and there was not one point in the meal where I felt like i was being put off. (I can even say the temperatures of the sauces and plates were impeccable)

Hiro Sushi is hands down one of the best spots if you’re looking for great prices, solid quality, and friendly service. I always come back when I’m in town. The sushi is affordable without sacrificing taste, making it one of the best bang for your buck places around. The staff was thoughtful and welcoming, and even when we stayed until closing, they never rushed us and let us take our time. Reliable, consistent, and genuinely hospitable easily one of my favorite sushi spots and a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Boyfriend and I have been loyal to this sushi restaurant for 3 years. Once I found it, we were so impressed with the food, and the atmosphere is really nice as it’s in the sage creek town square, lots of nice staff who always accommodate our taste! Awesome spot, sometimes a wait but good quality food takes time!

Sushi was great, really tasty. It's a bit pricier than other restaurants but I'm glad to pay for better quality. Service was good as well. I'll be coming back to try other rolls and see if the quality holds but so far I'm impressed.
The only thing that I can think of that doesn't deserve five stars is the locale itself. I found it very clean but perhaps a tad cold in regards of decoration. A bit more atmosphere would have been appreciated even though the nice, classy Christmas music helped with it. It's a very minor thing and didn't affect our lunch experience at all.

I drive 30 minutes out of the city to order take out from here. It’s normally a bit pricey but the quality is good. This evening I drove in just to take out this sushi, just to drive home and find no soya sauce, no wasabi, no ginger, and no chopsticks. Extremely dissapointed.

Been going for years, best sushi place in Winnipeg hands down, introduced my better half as well neither of us have had sushi anywhere else in atleast 3 years. Reasonably priced as well, some items get up there a bit but have always turned out well deserved

Ordered through door dash. We were big fans of the Double Salmon roll and the shrimp tempura roll. We weren't as fond of the scallop roll and unagi roll we had but that may be personal preference. All rolls were extremely fresh. Prices were good.

We absolutely love this sushi place and have been loyal customers for a long time. The quality of the food is always great, and it’s our go-to spot for takeout. However, we’ve had an ongoing issue with our orders missing the Las Vegas roll. It’s happened three separate times now, and unfortunately there’s never been any compensation or acknowledgment when the mistake is brought up. I’ve had to go back there to pick it up when this happens and the sushi is far less enjoyable by the time I get home for the second time.
We still enjoy the sushi here, but the repeated oversight and lack of customer service follow-through has been disappointing. Hopefully the team can improve consistency with takeout orders, because when everything is correct, the food is fantastic.
