Located conveniently in a mall. Plenty of parking.Take out only , not a fan but oh well. I was already there. It feels like I went back a year and a half when I walked in. Look at the photos and they're self explanatory...The sushi itself was pretty good. Wasn't expecting that being that we're in Winnipeg and the ocean isn't close at all. The were tightly rolled for the most part except the ends. They looked like the twisted ends from a joint .Kinda friendly but it's difficult to see when they're wearing a mask. Not for / anti mask just mentioning an observation.On the expensive side. $45.00+ tax for what you see in the photos. Lived in BC for a long time and this would of been a $30.00 ish order. I realize were in Winnipeg...I would go again if I want takeout for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance . Two doors .

Best chopped scallop roll and salmon/fatty salmon nigiri I’ve had in a long time. Melt in your mouth and very hearty pieces. This is going to become my new go-to sushi place. Go support this local mom and pop shop.

I work in the area so I’ve been coming here for years on my lunches. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this gem yet. I’ve been to many and this makes one of my favorite sushi places in the city. The rolls are decent sized and I find the ratio of rice to fish and other fillings very satisfying. The sashimi is fresh, quality is always good! It’s unfortunate that some reviews haven’t had the same experience but I haven’t had any problems here.

Very delicious sushi, I guess the best in Winnipeg.I've ordered lunch special, for 15cad I received quite a big portion, and what impressed me the most is that sushi had less rice and more tasty fresh fillings. Great! Will definitely order with you again!Good luck!

I am in Honba sushi heaven. I don't know how you guys do it time and time again? The rainbow roll is the most amazing thing on the planet! The salmon and tuna draped over the top are so fresh and soft and buttery it melts in your mouth!! The avocado is always the perfect texture. The rolls are exquisitely made. Nothing ever falls apart. I also order the dragon roll which is delicious and perfectly made each time. The miso soup was hot on delivery and it is delicious. Let me also say that the ginger is always SO fresh!! Fresher than anywhere I have ever ordered sushi. I have probably ordered a year now and this is the most consistent sushi restaurant for highest quality super rolls. But they are pricey, so I can only occasionally splurge on it. If I could eat here everyday I would!But what are those little candies in the delivery? I can't understand the language but they taste like coffee and something sweet at the same time.Anyways thank you guys, keep up the great work!!

I still like the food I got, but I wish I got my proper order. Ordered 2x chicken tempura rolls and 1 gyoza, got the rolls no problem but instead of gyoza I received their croquette instead, which was ok, it tasted alright but $9.95 for deep friend mashed potatoes and what tasted like canned corn. Its partially my fault as I left without checking the order, but I literally only ordered 2 things. I will try again as the sushi was amazing but I'll be sure to pay more attention next time before I leave. Staff was slightly busy but also kind of ignored customers, customers would say hello, to be greeted with silence, theyd ask what order you're there for but that's about it as far as communication after ordering and paying. All I can say is I was craving gyoza, but instead got disappointment in the shape of a burger patty

Got this as an alternative to my usual sushi place. Way too expensive. Ordered 4 rolls. One was decent. The most expensive roll I ordered,the dragon roll. $10 a Cali roll when they use fake crab. Ridiculous. I've had wayyyyy better quality sushi for way less. Ginza Sushi. Amazing place. Great sushi. Great staff. Don't waste your time with Honba Sushi. Go to Ginza Sushi. Able to get more variety. A party platter is $33 compared to $70 at this place.
