When we were waiting for our order once a few months ago a guy came in saying he was hungry but didn't have money, that he was homeless etc. Dude that cooks/does the register was like that's fine bro, I'll get you some food and he did, pretty rare to see businesses do that. Everytime someone asks where to go eat or where's a good spot for a poutine i recommend this spot.“

“Great lunch spot. Ended up going here 3 times this week while working in the area. The daily specials are a good deal for what you get. They are very generous with the fries, which are fresh cut and taste great. I found the chicken burger a little dry but the Fat Boy is one of the best burgers I've ever had and the assorted sub was very fresh and really good. Overall I'd say the food quality is really good. Service is quick and friendly.“

“I was craving poutine, so I decided to give theirs a try—and I wasn’t disappointed! The portion was generous, easily enough for two people to share, and very reasonably priced. I loved how it had just the right amount of gravy and cheese—perfectly balanced.

The service was fantastic, especially from Carl (I think that was his name). He was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The ambiance was nice overall, but the music that night was a bit too loud in the main hall, making it hard to have a conversation. We ended up moving to a quieter spot, which worked out fine.

All in all, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

“Bit of a long wait, but what do you expect for a restaurant that's been open for 2 weeks. I've got to say amazing food, I had the sweet and savory Box.“

“Visited for the first time and absolutely loved the mushroom mozza burger & cinnamon sugar fries. Very friendly staff, good little outdoor seating area of a few tables, and great specials.
I appreciate that they generously donate a portion of tips to local charities, and I really like that they partner with the Leftovers Foundation (a great local charity that works to divert food waste from landfills).
I do wish that they had recycling for tin drink cans available, as they don't have recycling bins. Considering that aluminum drink cans are their main beverage option, it would be great to see the ability for their drink packaging to also be diverted from landfill waste. Fun fact: from the point of going into the recycling bin, it only takes an aluminum can 60 days to be converted back into beverage packaging on the shelf!
