Blonde barista didn’t seem like she was in a good mood when she took our orders (was texting before she noticed us at the front) - this is not the first time we have experienced this.
We feel like we are inconveniencing her.
We decided we will try to go when the other two ladies are there as they are a joy to talk to and do business with.
I love this place! I like to stop by on my way to work. I love the headbanger coffee, and their egg salad sandwich is one of the best I’ve had, so good and crunchy, and the bread is delicious. Great service!

THE BEST coffee in downtown Winnipeg. If you have to work here or live here, this is the place for your daily java. Friendly service and locally owned business.

I recently visited Human Bean, a local coffee house located in the heart of Cityplace in Winnipeg. The mother-daughter duo who run this local coffee shop offers a diverse range of salads with different kinds of dressings, refreshing smoothies, and an impressive selection of teas. The staff was helpful in assisting me with my order, and I was very happy with their service. I ordered a salad, a cheesecake, and a strawberry banana smoothie, all of which were delicious. In addition to its healthy offerings, Human Bean actively promotes acceptance and creates a safe space for everyone. They support the LGBTQ community and are friendly with everyone who walks through their doors. The combination of their friendly staff, delicious food, and inclusive atmosphere make Human Bean a true coffee place in the heart of Winnipeg. I totally recommend this family-owned coffee shop for its healthy food options, delicious smoothies, and outstanding customer service.

Are the world seems to be folgerzz ann' cricket otherwise this looks like a really good local place to go to if you don't believe in like the Tim Hortons glomerate why would anyone eat Arabian beans we could grow beans in the back for well we can grow beans in our yard I don't and where's all the hanging cities of love like where there's like if there's a balcony just buy one of those little things where you can like throw it over the balcony and grow the plants of your choice aquaponics is good but like try peat moss and lava rock as a soil medium makes good sense to me I'm not even an affiliate marketer for lava rock or peat moss I did I worked at Sun go horticulture though but there's also Berger have a nice day
Awesome place and super friendly staff!!! Delicious coffee and delicious food!
Quinoa veggie bowl for 5.50 CAD? Very affordable!I can really taste the strawberry & the green tea in my strawberry green latte.I would come here more frequently since this cafe is strategically located inside the mall at the heart of downtown so bus commute back & forth to work is much more accessible & easier. Prices for healthy stuffs are much cheaper.
I just order a salted caramel iced drink and it was delicious as per usual. I used to order from the Human Bean all the time when I worked at City Place. I was just about to order Starbucks and was so happy to find them on Skip The Dishes this morning. I'm very satisfied. I miss the warm welcoming ladies over at the Human Bean and hope they are keeping well. Thanks!
Sometimes i stop by before i go to work. And I always get a medium hot chocolate and i got one today too. But when i picked my cup, i felt something was wrong because the cup was very light. I checked my cup as I was leaving, I could only see froth but I thought i was overthinking and I had to get to work on time. And guess what, the froth settled by the time i got to my desk(and i work in the same building), I noticed the cup was half filled with the hot chocolate. So basically I paid for a medium hot chocolate but got a small hot chocolate instead! This is the first time it happened to me and it is disappointing.I would definitely want to be compensated.
