We came when it wasn't busy so the service was very quick and friendly. We did the unlimited all meat and even then, we found that the menu was very limited especially when compared to other all you can eat places that charge less. They didn't offer takoyaki in the ayce menu which was surprising to me. Their sauces were lacking but the cheese dip was pretty good. The quality of the food was okay. The bulgogi, kalbi, and dae pae (spicy) were my favourites. Overall, not bad but not worth the 37.99.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a mix of indoor and outdoor dining. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience. The highlight, of course, was the delicious samgyupsal. The meat was perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection, leaving me craving for more. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to satisfy their samgyupsal cravings. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!"

I got the squid and the crazy French fries. Was all super good the dipping sauce that came with the squid 5 stars added just a nice amount of spice the fries where what id call i different take on a poutine was very tasty I meant to just try a few before trying the squid and i couldn't put them down. Fries where perfectly crispy. Meal was filling. will definitely be ordering again to try other options.Side note the packaging was really unique and cool.

Edit: after a few more days I decided to check their Instagram out of curiosity. They seemed out my socials and blocked me. I was going to stay quiet on there and just tell people word of mouth if they asked about it there, but I guess I’m being obnoxious about it now. Way to go. Not only did you not respond to people like you normally do on here, you chose blocking. Guess you can’t come back at me with “you must get off on leaving negative reviews” like you did say to my fiancé because my reviews are quite fair. Learn from your many shortcomings and do better.Went here on my birthday and at the time right after the experience I was just happy to have tried something new even though everything was mid at best. The more I have time to think about it, and the more I see has definitely changed my opinion. I had seen friends post on Instagram about going here for Korean BBQ and had always been curious. I figure people were all over this place since it was so exclusive with only allowing people to dine there with a reservation only. (I see they’re changing this now based on recent posts)I not only felt disappointed by the experience, but gaslit by the waitress who was doing double duty as hostess. I tried to empathize because it seemed like she was running the ship by herself. I was confused by her instruction and then she proceeded to fight with us giving us the food ordered by a different table. She acted stubbornly infallible as if she could not make a mistake, saying “but this is for your table.” The menus were mislabelled or switched. That didn’t seem like a possibility to her. My fiancé has a mushroom allergy and it was being insisted that this massive volume of food including mushrooms was our table’s until the other table who it belonged to piped in and confirmed it was theirs. She scoffed and switched it afterwards with no acknowledgement of the mistake. If we had started to cook it, it would have been an even bigger problem. Accept the mistake, correct it and apologize and move on and it would have been better. How do I describe the atmosphere? Inoffensive, but doing the bare minimum. While there is nothing wrong with having things from IKEA or Dollarama for the things like utensil holders, it all does the trick just fine. But most restaurants at least try to make something unique to their name. The fact that the music that was playing was just covers of popular music didn’t do it any favours of it feeling cheap. I’m anticipating a response from them twisting my response around like they did with my fiancé already. If you want to survive as a local business, know that the cheap decor is the least of your problems. In comparison, it really wasn’t a problem at all, but it’s a parameter Google asks about. We were the second set of people that were there to dine and were shortly followed by 2 or 3 other tables. Two of those tables, including the people’s order we got were finished before us. It was an increasingly frustrating time pressing the call button only for the waitress to address every other table but ours. It also felt incredibly dangerous that I was trying to avoid being tangled by the cord of the stove underneath my seat by the wall. The exhaust fan was grimy, and the bathroom filthy. The trip there was meant to be a good time to celebrate my birthday and relax after a stressful day, and it was expensive and disappointing, contributing to more stress.I should have read these other reviews to warn me because there are some recurring issues that are still happening to patrons. This was days ago and I was going to pretty much just accept that it was “okay” and move on, but I’m still upset about it and it has ruined any sort of birthday celebration. This is mostly due to with the way I’ve seen the owners respond with the same “I’m sorry this didn’t meet your standards”-not actually sorry response. I don’t have a lot of para-social influence and I’m not here to destroy a place with my review, but I will be truthful with friends and family to just do this at home or go to the other place we normally do.Dietary restr

Edit: I'll let the owner's reply speak for itself. It's the exact kind of unprofessional reply that makes what I'm saying completely believable. It would help if they even read the reply and responded to the actual criticism levied instead of just making up facts. 30 minute wait from pressing the "call for help" button - not 2, completely deflected the comments about the filth - being a local business has nothing to do with cleaning, and they have no way to verify their server wasn't rude - they are just accusing me of lying. They also promised a refund that I know I'll never see.Cheaply renovated interior, decent enough food, terrible service, and dirty. Brought us the wrong food, was rude, defiant and difficult about the mistake until the table beside jumped in to say that was their food. Requested the server to come by and had to wait over 30 minutes for her to come by just to get a refill. Exhaust fan was incredibly dirty and had grease in every groove. Then felt very pressured to tip. Congratulations on getting the tip. I'm sure the business owner will love the fact that the pressure for the 15% tip was the tipping factor to actually putting the review online. Definitely not the profitable move there. Will never go there again, and will steer friends and family to the competition.

This place is a gem. Located on Mcphillips this fusion of Korean bbq and Japanese street food is a diamond that I hope will stay around on the Winnipeg food scene for a long time to come. Value for money it is a great place to enjoy food with friends in a relaxed setting that focuses on ensuring you habe a great meal. We tried the entire menu, you have a 2 hr limit for all you can eat protein and vegetables plus sides. Totally worth the $37 per.person. I'll be back for sure.

I've been looking for Korean BBQ place for the longest time. Something that would remind me of the restaurants back in the Philippines. I've already tried a few here in Winnipeg and it just didn't really make it for me. We went here to celebrate my son's 12th birthday and it did not disappoint. Sure, the place isn't screaming good ambiance like the other restaurants but I would say that among the other Kbbqs we've tried in the city this place went to the top of my list. The crew was nice and friendly and the instructions were easy to follow. The food was very close to taste if not the same to the last Kbbq restaurant I went to before I left for CA. There will always be things that would require improvement but for a restaurant this size I find it really good. Kind of like a hole in the wall type of thing. :)

Had wanted to try this place and finally went. Will not return. Staff was not friendly and even though the hours say they open till certain time, they had shut everything down almost 2hrs before closing time. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great place and atmosphere. Was a little cold in the restaurant but otherwise great. Started with miso soup ? it was ok nothing amazing. Service was prompt and on key. Everything ordered was out to us quickly. We ordered the unlimited meats at $39.99Ordered the takoyaki and that was delicious.Meats are sliced thin and seasoned well enough. My son says that they needed more seasoning. You decide but I did not think they were lacking. We tried all the pork chicken and beef and was not disappointed.Side dishes were tasty. We received pickled cucumber, spiced bean sprouts, kimchi and it was all good.Popcorn shrimp was good, gayoza and spring rolls were tasty.Vegetables we ordered were Edamame, bell pepper, pineapple, mushrooms and zucchini and they were sliced well and good portion. To top it all off we had a pistachio icecream and it was really good not too sweet to taste. The restaurant gives you 1hour and 30 mins to cook and eat. It was more than enough time as we had 40mins left and we were full. I would recommend this place to eat at again as we did have a good time only thing is that it was cold and it could be just because of the spot we were in. Sorry forgot the photos

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I am not impressed. My man and I tried going to this place on a week night, we walk in and the hostess stood there with a puzzled look on her face. I decided to ask for a table. She told us that she could not take us with out a reservation. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. There was no one there. I asked seriously? She said afraid so then proceeded to try and apologize. "Am sorry" what?! the place was empty!!!! I was super excited to try this place but after getting turned away in an empty restaurant, I have no desire to be back.
