We often order takeout from Edokko: fantastic food with a creative menu at a fair price. Tonight we ate in the restaurant for the first time, and while the ambiance is not this place's strong suit, the service was as friendly and efficient as you could ever hope for--our server was super nice and on the ball. Overall this place is a real gem.

The sashimi is fresh and nice. Just an enjoyment of shopping for Japanese food after a nice lunch.

I was very impressed by how polite and professional the front desk staff were.”i will come here again
Not my first time for sushi, but my first visit to Edokko. We tried a variety of new items, my favourite were the scallops and the Sunomono salad. The bagel roll cream cheese was too large for the roll but still tasty with the salmon. The octopus balls have nice flavour and good texture of the light dough ball. It’s a very cozy dining area and full when we went. I really want to get there for lunch to give the ramen a try. 4.5 rolls out of 5.

Awesome place, best sushi in Winning and more stuff!
Great experience!! Highly recommend!!!
Violently craved unagi (don) and so happy we have a great spot for it! Also tried hotate butter yaki and it was amazing.
Rainbow rolls had generous slices of fish, too.
Bought a package of uni in the past + matcha powder and can say they're worth it.

Excellent place. Great food, great service. I recommend the lunch specials. Great value for what you get. Exceptional quality for the city.
There’s a market for Japanese ingredients tucked in the back that’s adjacent to the back kitchen. Looks like they have some good stuff to stock my pantry with.
Parking might be tight. Definitely will return.
Back again for the Karaage Teishoku.
My go-to in Winnipeg. A cozy, small restaurant with reasonable prices and hearty meals
I heard so many good things about this sushi restaurant and was excited to try a different sushi place. It was disappointing on so many levels. The fish was not fresh, portion sizes small for the price, service is poor, and place looks unclean. The tataki we ordered was fully cooked; in fact, the texture seemed like it was boiled instead of lightly seared on the outside. Maybe they had an off day….
I have known Masa from the old Yurijo days. Always enjoy the food he prepared. I had the special of the day #1 and it was great. A lot of food, I was full past my normal supper time.
Lunch special was excellent! Very high quality food and reasonable pricing.
