I came in on a Wednesday morning when it was a quiet day and the staff working were beyond amazing. The food and drinks were delicious and with a side of the barista being the sweetest human ever, my experience was phenomenal! Will be coming back:)

I had heard so much about this restaurant and arrived early on purpose, worried there might not be any seats. The service, the space itself, and the pricing were all fine. However, when it came down to the food, it was a major disappointment. Perhaps high expectations make it easier to feel let down.

The flavors were extremely average. The pancake, which looks beautiful and very photogenic, really is just that - great for photos, but the taste was nothing special. As for the short rib hash, I only managed to eat about a quarter of it. Not because the portion was too large, but because the flavor simply didn’t make me want to keep eating. I didn’t even feel like taking it to go, even considering how expensive dining out is these days.

Met a colleague for a breakfast meeting today. We had the mushroom toast and eggs Benedict. They have different take on some usual breakfast items that are very delicious and constructed creatively! You’ll enjoy it immensely.

Came here for lunch on a busy day and had such an incredible experience! The staff was incredible, even though it was so busy the host was super attentive and communicative about wait times from the start. Once we were seated, the service was so friendly and efficient and the food was amazing. Lots of variety on the menu and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back!!

My experience was great with no complaints! Juneberry is fantastic. The food is thoughtful, fresh, and consistently delicious, but what really stands out is the staff. Even when dealing with impatient or difficult customers, they remain calm, kind, and genuinely professional. You can tell they care about the experience and handle everything with grace and good humor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is excellent, and the whole place just feels well run. A restaurant that truly gets both food and hospitality right. Highly recommend.

The food was excellent, and the servers provided great service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by the host. While she did listen to customers and appeared to acknowledge concerns, her facial expressions and overall demeanor came across as unfriendly and dismissive. As the first point of contact, the host plays a critical role in shaping guests’ first impressions, and in this case, it did not set a welcoming tone.

The food and atmosphere might have potential, but first impressions matter a lot, and the poor treatment at the door made it hard to enjoy the rest of the experience. I hope management addresses this (host), because good service starts with basic kindness.

Our group of 7 arrived at 11:00 a.m. and were placed on the waitlist. After waiting over 2 hours, we were finally seated at 1:30 p.m. The host repeatedly pushed back our wait time instead of being upfront. If we had been told from the start that the restaurant was extremely busy and unable to accommodate a group our size, we would have gone elsewhere.

What made this worse was the lack of effort or common sense. With some rearranging of tables and chairs, we easily could have been seated sooner. Multiple staff members walked past us to use the washroom, clearly seeing that we had been waiting, yet no one checked in or tried to help. There were also tables with customers who were finished eating and just chatting — asking to borrow a table and a few chairs could have solved the issue.

Waiting over two hours with no honest communication or attempt to accommodate is unacceptable. The service from the host was awful, and the overall experience was extremely frustrating. We will not be returning.

Went in for brunch on a weekend. Friendly service and the food is amazing. However, it is a bit noisy and not for you if you’re looking for a cozy place.

This place provides it all. Excellent service, 5 star food, and a lovely atmosphere to boot. Emma our server did an excellent job on explaining the meals. And helping us with the right cocktail for each of us.

You have to come here if you never have before. Seriously, why aren’t you here yet? This place is definitely a bucket list location out of all the restaurants in Winnipeg. CHECK IT OUT.

Also if your worried about waiting, sign up online before you go and they’ll let you know when you can come in so it’s easily to gauge rather than guessing or even calling to reserve your times. The whole team and vibe is through the roof thanks for having us.

Food is top-notch. Well prepared with quality ingredients. Unique tastes. Espresso is overall well prepared. Not the best but pretty good for a restaurant.

Service is pretty good. Not super attentive but better than average. A little tighter seating inside. There is outdoor seating on a nicer day. Otherwise, you'll be waiting, especially on the weekend, as it can get quite busy. Another downside of the space is the single washroom that needs a key. However when open, you can sneak into the lounge across the way to use their washroom.

At least 4.5. Very recommend.

Update (20/09/25): Espresso drinks still excellent! Souffle pancake, delicious. Breakfast Reuben is good protein. Nice with gruyere. Unfortunately the bottom bun was all soggy from the wet ingredients and fell apart. I still ate it all.
