The food was wonderful the flavours were like a fire cracker in your mouth. The atmosphere for dining in was awesome. Will definitely be going back. Thank you to the chef and server for a wonderful great experience.

I had just ordered take out from here about 10 mins ago and took my first bite of the curry chicken roti and OH MY…this is so good that I had to write about it ASAP. The owner there is so delightful and their Chef was super fast with cooking our order. We recently moved to Winnipeg from Toronto and just from the first bite, I do not regret the move at all! We’re so happy to have such a delicious Jamaican restaurant nearby. I saw that they also do delivery with UberEats but the vibe in the restaurant is so homey that I would prefer to eat there! Thank you so much again!!

Delicious food but there was miscommunication from the waitress. After i finished my first two dishes, i came to the front desk and said that i was still hungry and wanted to order the jerk chicken. The request was mean to eat in not take out. She thought i wanted the jerk chicken to be a take out. I was so surprised because there was no confirmation and waited for 20 minutes until she told me to come to the front desk to receive the order in takeout box. I was surprised and not happy. I said i was still hungry and wanted to order more. Outside temperature was really cold and i walked all the way from polo park to enjoy the food but that was some non common sense.

I dropped in and picked up 2 orders of the Jerk Chicken and Festival Combo. Reminds Me of My parents making Jerk Chicken and Festival. Brought back some great memories of having that meal! Will be back for more to try! Great Staff and Friendly Service!!

A good friend and I came here for the 1st time and were not disappointed! We both had chicken roti and loved it. It was stuffed generously with chicken and I took part of it home. Very tasty and authentic. Pleasant and accommodating staff, neat atmosphere, popular - and tasty. I'm looking forward to going back again to try more of the menu. Thank you for a really nice experience. It was just right and I will be back with more friends!
Parking: it looks like there is some parking in the back but there is plenty of street parking both on Portage Ave and the side streets. At busy times one may need to walk a bit but there is a "no parking" area in front that can be used to drop off anyone that may not be able to walk much. Pretty normal for this part of town and not generally an issue.

They have been given awards for the best restaurant for a reason. They make u feel like family from the time u step in the door. And it's part of why my husband/jamaican/chef will only go to K&S for all our Special moments like last night for our anniversary. He said last night that "all it takes is one visit here and people will be hooked" and it's true.

One of my favourite restaurants in the city !!! Delicious, authentic Jamaican food !!! The Jerk Chicken Linguine is one of my go to items and the Jamaican Beef Pattie’s are next level. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile. If you just can’t get enough you can also purchase the BBQ Jerk sauce to take home so you can add it to every dish and you will. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a taste, love love love it !!!
