Food was delicious, wine prices were good, and service was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. Cozy ambience. Will be back!
This was my first visit to Winnipeg, and Kevin's came highly recommended — and I can see why. The space is warm, welcoming, and uniquely designed, giving a great first impression the moment you walk in. The staff were excellent — especially our server, who was engaging, friendly, and made great menu recommendations. Our orders were taken promptly, and the pre-dinner cocktails were delicious. The food arrived beautifully presented, though we did find it somewhat under-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, and we were happily full after our meals (so much so that we had to skip dessert!). There were a couple of hiccups during our visit — the restaurant's HVAC system seemed to be having issues, and with the open-concept kitchen, the space got quite warm. The team did their best by opening doors, but it was still a bit uncomfortable by the end of the evening. The live band was another mixed point. While I usually love live music with dinner, the space is quite small, and the volume made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Music should enhance the dining atmosphere — not compete with it — so a slightly lower volume would go a long way. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. I would definitely consider returning to Kevin's, though next time I might ask for a table a bit farther from the performance area if there's live music that night.
The server was extremely friendly and attentive, but not hovering, and the food was fantastic good portions, having a live guitarist singing, added to the overall ambiance and was extremely enjoyable
Delicious meal and excellent service. A bit noisy but made for a fun vibe. The live music was a wonderful addition to the evening!
Came with my family, the mac and cheese was AMAZING! And the portions were very generous. Great wine, great ambiance, and live music which added a nice touch. Most live music tends to be too obnoxious or too loud and steals focus, but not here. The music was a perfect volume, and really added to the experience. 10/10 would go again.
Kevin's has yet to fail us. Everything is delicious and the service and attentive and prompt. Great place before Concert Hall or MTC. A little noisy, but I know of many that are worse.
Mac and cheese was awesome. Service was as it could have been with on staff member being assigned 6-8 tables.
Would definitely return. Brussels sprout appy could have been cooked a little more. Main and desserts were awesome
I've never had such a poor experience at a restaurant. From the time we sat down to the time we paid our bill was disappointment after disappointment.
I loved the food. The pasta was a bit dry not too saucy like how I like it(Alfredo) service was wonderful and I like the mood. There was live music

Food was good. It was a bit smoky though in the restaurant (minor fire in the kitchen). Service was prompt and courteous. We will be back.
Food was great! Our server Lauren was amazing and really attentive. Atmosphere and music was really quaint and fun. We will be back!
Went here on date night. The food was delicious. Had the muscles as a starter then my partner had Mac and cheese and I had linguine carbonara both were fantastic.
