Kimbaek has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Winnipeg for authentic Korean comfort food. We’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints.
The Gamjatang (pork bone soup) is rich and hearty, the Kalbitang (short rib soup) is perfectly savory and soothing, and the Army Stew is packed with flavor — all served piping hot, family-style, and perfect for sharing.
Food was delicious and the server was really sweet and hard working !

This restaurant may not be in the most ideal location, but the food and value more than make up for it! We ordered the samgyupsal (teriyaki), beef bulgogi, and japchae. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The staff were also very accommodating. will come back again!

Placed an order for pickup 2 bulgogi and a vegetarian pajeon, they absolutely burned it making it inedible. Should have done better and remake it instead of serve burnt food to a customer.

Fave place to get korean food in Winnipeg! My go to order is always the Army Stew (extra spicy), seafood pancake, jajangmyeon, and Gamjatang! Never disappoints. Can get busy during peak hours as there aren't a lot of tables, but the wait is worth it!

I was craving for Gamjatang so I went to Kimbaek for lunch. Service was really quick. Food is so delicious! Gamjatang was served hot and spicy, with a bowl of rice and 4 sides. Will definitely come back here and try other items on menu.
