Fave place to get korean food in Winnipeg! My go to order is always the Army Stew (extra spicy), seafood pancake, jajangmyeon, and Gamjatang! Never disappoints. Can get busy during peak hours as there aren't a lot of tables, but the wait is worth it!

I was craving for Gamjatang so I went to Kimbaek for lunch. Service was really quick. Food is so delicious! Gamjatang was served hot and spicy, with a bowl of rice and 4 sides. Will definitely come back here and try other items on menu.

The three of us had an amazing meal! We originally ordered three bowls of Korean black bean noodles, a serving of stir-fried rice cakes, and a spicy beef soup, but everything was so delicious that we couldn’t resist adding a stone pot bibimbap. We left completely satisfied! The owner, a lovely Korean lady, was incredibly warm, and the Taiwanese waitress was also super friendly. Highly recommend this place! (It was so good that I completely forgot to take photos!)

I'm Korean, and I always go for gamjatang whenever I feel sick. It's as delicious as the food in Korea, and I know I'll miss it even when I go back home. It's the best—I think I've had it more than 10 times already!

The gamjatang is true deal. Second time here. Tried other menu and my family likes it. Beef ribs looks delicious. I just dont like it with teriyaki sauce. Service is fine. Server almost forgot to show or give the menu. Doordash and uber eats delivery keeps ringing. Making them busy. If you want to take out left over. They will charge you $1 for the container.
