Cocktail prices were not on the menu so I was scared to get the bill, but they were only $8 per drink which was okay. They were quite watered down and overpowered with the taste of tap water, but overall fine. Atmosphere was really nice and the service was amazing - no complaints there.
Only complaint is the tap water taste in the cocktails, so minus one star for that as it kind of ruined the taste of the beverages overall.
Not the greatest place. Fish and chips were hard, and over cooked definitely over priced for a fast paced bar. They located us near the dirty dish pit very annoying to have dishes dropped off behind us while enjoying awful burned meal. Waitress ordered me two beers for some reason thats what she heard. Was very out of place as we were charged 30$ to dine in also forced us to show ID scanned it and our photos very low grade.
Had a great after-show drink and a snack. Jared was so good. Man knows his food and drink. Ill be back for that scotch.
Overall I like this bar but tonight there was an arbitrary lineup inside that was supposedly $30 to get upstairs, as well as a line for $10 that also let's you go upstairs. The $30 line was slower than the $10 line so why would anyone pay that for worse service? I feel the management does not have a hot clue what they are doing, and I'm not giving my business to a place that treats me like a sucker. We left and went to Select Start and had an amazing time!
Do better.....
Fantastic lunchtime specials. Vibe was smooth.
Comfortable and casual environment and friendly service make for a great night out šæ.
I really wish Anastasia could work more often. She is the sweetest and I would spend all my money here if she was working more. Reg tries his best but Anastasia blows him out of the water.
English Pub. Winnipeg Staple. You've actually already been here !
Had a really great experience here. Bartenders could not have been nicer. Really great people. Had the vindaloo which was very good. Good vibes . Thank you.
Great spot for a cold one šš

Went for lunch with a coworker last week. We decided to split a burger and fries. Asked if we could get the Jets burger and beer special. Said we were working and wondered if we could get a soft drink instead of a beer. The server said the Jets special was only available on Jets Game day. If thatās the case, please make a ānote on the menuā if thatās the case. We ordered the burger fries. He asked if we wanted to add cheese for $4.00ā¦.what. Said it was real cheese and not processed. Past on that expensive add on. He said heād cut the burger for us. He brought the burger and fries on two plates. Burger and fries were very tasty. Paid the bill and left. Got home and took a look at the receiptā¦.what??? $1.00 to cut the burger in half and put on separate plates. ā1 split for 2 - $1.00ā He didnāt mention the up charge for cutting the burger in half and putting it on two plates. $21.28 for a burger and friesā¦.plus a $2.50 tip. Little much for me for a burger and fries. I wonāt be going back because of the āsplit chargeā.
Went for lunch: got nachos and some beers. Disappointed with the portion relative to the price. Overall: overpriced and unhelpful service. Really not much more to say honestly. The good news is that very close by is the Yellow Dog (unfortunately closed when we went), which is much better for price, service and atmosphere.
A bartender downstairs was incredibly rude to me when waiting in line to go upstairs.
Good atmosphere great beer. But not my type of donair. Super sweet sauce. Like candy. Boss told me itās a truly authentic maritime donair recipe, sauce has condensed milk in it. Good to know, will definitely not order donairs in maritimes. Pub food otherwise good :)
Oh yes the liberal supporting pub lol the owner and the employees love high prices
