Enjoy the healthy & organic ethioeritrean foods. Fantastic variety. Bon appetite.
All good 👍
I tried Ethiopian food for the first time and loved it. They have a huge variety of options on their menu, the platters are great. Huge portion sizes and Injeera bread was exactly as expected. Would appreciate they can reduce the wait times for the non-veg platters.
Loved it! I’m a flight attendant who struggles to find affordable healthy food in the city centres, especially vegetarian food, and this place hits all the boxes. Where else can you still get a HUGE platter of delicious, hot home cooked food for only $14?! The portions were so generous I couldn’t even finish. And they were super friendly people inside too, very welcoming. Will definitely return on my next visit, thank you!
Quick downtown lunch, amazing food, reasonable price.
I’d been here before so was excited to introduce Kokeb to our group of 3.
You know the food will be authentic when neither the waitress nor the other diners speak English. The so very lovely cook was able to help us with the menu.
We started with beef samosas. Wonderful flavours and piping hot. Yum.
We all ordered the vegetarian plate, which came combined on one platter to share, along with a plate of their wonderful fermented crepes. No cutlery. In traditional Ethiopian style, we torn pieces of crepe and used them to pick up bites of the many dishes on the platter: curried lentils, stewed potatoes, beet salad, etc, etc, every dish was delicious and each quite different from the others.
We 3 ate our fill, and took away enough for 2 more meals, all for under $50! We will all return for the food and the experience.
The best Samosas in the city. The green sauce is spicy ( hot) but very tasty as well. The service is awesome! I will definitely be back. Nothing better than an Ethiopian cappuccino
This is an Ethiopian restaurant. I like their injera soft and nice.
Tried their cuisine & I must say it was so delicious ? and tasty need to revisit soon highly recommend this spot to anyone.

We stopped here for dinner while traveling through the area. It was busy but we were seated right away. There are lots of options on the menu, including several vegetarian. We ordered Kokeb Kitfo and the Veggie Combo. Portions were very generous, everything was flavorful and high-quality. By far the best Ethiopian food we've had outside of Ethiopia itself. We loved trying all of the different dishes in the veggie combo. Service was friendly if a bit slow, with just one person overseeing the dining room - it's worth the wait, but not the place to come if you are in a hurry. All in all, highly recommended. We would come back.

When ordering from this place through Skip they give so little on the order especially injera the stuff used to scope up the food. This is not right at all. When I called to ask for more they kept acting like I was going to steal money away from them. The staff kept saying on the phone the extra injera I have to pay. It is not right as the meal itself is quite expensive up to $-24-$37 I have to pay. That is not cheap surely they can put in enough injera so I don’t have to pay extra the cost I already did pay.

I’ve been here twice for takeout. The man who took my order (the owner, I assume) was very friendly. The food has been excellent. I’ve now ordered 4 veggie combos and a total of eight veggie samosas. The combos had generous portions and each item was delicious and distinct. I had veggie samosas filled with lentils. They were also delicious and spicy. Everything was fresh. I highly recommend you give them a go.

I forgot my wallet and the owner graciously gave me my order and trusted me to return and pay the following day. I'll never forget that act of kindness and display of faith in humanity. Best samosas in town by the way!
