Good stuff

My family has been going to Komodo restaurant for decades, 3 owners, same great food. So sad the buffet didn't come back after covid. Filled my plate with deep fried mushrooms many times. We still oder from them for family gatherings all these years later. Never let us down. Always ready on time. 4 stars for atmosphere because there's no dine in, so not really significant.

I tried this Chinese restaurant recently and the highlight was definitely the spicy tofu — amazing flavour and perfectly balanced spice. The other dishes were average, decent but not standout. Still worth visiting just for the tofu!

Order $80 worth of food from Komodo’s and I’m so disappointed! The veal does not taste like veal, it has a fishy taste to it. I called them and asked for a refund for the veal only and was told no as I ate it. I told them I ate 2 pieces from the 2 dishes of veal I ordered. They said it was my opinion on the taste and they would not refund me. This is not good customer service. Do NOT ORDER THE VEAL! 🤢

I say it every time we order but had to rate it this time. Great place to order food from. Everyone is so friendly, fast service, great food. We wanted to support local but were again reminded of how great this place is.

I have ordered here several times and have always had a great meal, reasonably priced and generous portions.

But the real compliment is on their service. When ordering, I asked if there was any shrimp in the fried rice as there was a shellfish allergy in our group. The answer was no.

But an hour before pickup we get a call warning us that there was shrimp in the Singapore Vermicelli (which I always order and am aware that it contains shrimp,) and is excellent BTW.)

My family enjoyed Komodo and the excellent quality of the Chinese food it was fresh and overall delicious. However, for a cost of almost 75$ for four people... the quantity was a litte on the less side. We will definitely return but hopefully we don't have to split up the amount of shrimp or chicken balls next time. Thank you for the tasty Chinese food.

They said it would take around 30mins to prepare our meal. (It was very big) Turns out, it was only 15-20mins!

The food - They put A LOT of food in it, and it tastes EXACTLY how it said on the menu. Specifically about the sweet and sour chicken, it tasted sweet and sour, and added the right things on it. All the food was made hot and fresh-under 30mins.

The experience - They were really kind, and handled everything very easily. I want to talk about the chefs that made it so quick, I never even noticed! The cashier was very nice overall, even helping a guy bring boxes to their car full of that tasty food. I talked to her about how good her restaurant is.

Overall, I would recommend this to my friends to come back again

I am very disappointed with the service and the food here, I ordered from here and spent over 100$ to eat with my family. We had some of the food only to discover bugs in the food. I was livid. I fed this to my children and I shudder to think about even now. My husband ended up sick from it. And when I went in to ask for a refund for the food I was met with every excuse for why they couldn’t refund me. Finally when they agreed to refund me, I thanked them and left. And now two weeks later. They have not refunded me. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I cannot recommend anyone to eat here. They will gaslight and lie to your face. The service is the worst I have ever experienced. If I could give 0 stars it would still be too many. Do not eat here
