“Fave place to get korean food in Winnipeg! My go to order is always the Army Stew (extra spicy), seafood pancake, jajangmyeon, and Gamjatang! Never disappoints. Can get busy during peak hours as there aren't a lot of tables, but the wait is worth it!“

“This is definitely long overdue. I've been going to this Kimchi location for probably almost 10 years now. I bowl in the basement of polo and my dad and I would always go and get lunch after and this was our place of choice. As I've gotten older, I often go alone. The staff is super friendly, always have been, and I adore them wholeheartedly. My order can be a little annoying (I'm the 7a with no corn and extra spicy!!!) but the staff is kind regardless-- so much so it's to the point where when I order online for pickup, even though I can't request no corn, they still often prepare it without it without me saying anything. They're all truly gems and I appreciate everyone there for feeding my addiction over the years haha!!

“Been to several Kimchi locations as its my favorite Korean place to eat in the city and can say that this is the best location in Winnipeg. Just can't say enough about their food, the lovely service and the amazing value. If it’s your first time I highly recommend my favorite dish — Kimchi rice (Or Kimchi noodles if you prefer noodles)!“

“Lovely Korean Restaurant on Pembina. Service is super friendly and the decor is new, modern and well designed. We ordered one bibimbap, a sizzling plate, japchae, and a dessert (bingsu) and all dishes were excellent. Prices are on the higher side, but ok/good for a special evening out. “We really enjoy coming here for lunch. Lots to choose from with a good sushi and Korean menu. At lunch we usually go for the hot Korean dishes. So tasty and so fresh. The Korean sides are kimche, sprouts, and potatoes. Generous portions.The kimche here is among my favourite. I love bringing friends here for the first time.“

The beef was extremely tender and just melted in my mouth. The superfood pea sprouts seemed to be just as crunchy as the other vegetables. Although it's called mini soup, the portion was enough for me to feel full for several hours.

“We've tried lots of other AYCE restaurants, but always come back to IGI. The food was delicious, the Wagyu is excellent. The service is AMAZING, efficient, and attentive. We also had no reservation, but our host managed to get us in. IGI will always be our favourite place to come back to.“
