For a budget friendly sushi spot, can't complain. It's no Yujiro but for the price it's really good. Very fresh ingredients and great sushi rice. It's take out only. Labelling of rolls is a nice touch and they don't skimp on the ginger/wasabi. Pick up was on time and accurate estimate. Definitely will add this place in our rotation.

My family & I always love to order sushi for special occasions. We ordered a feast via DoorDash delivery for Diwali last night (5 people) and everything was so delicious! The sashimi was generously sized, there were plenty of options for rolls to cater to everyone’s preferences, and everything was so so fresh! We are quite picky with sushi because we order it so often. Personally, I’ve tried so many different places in the city. Kuma stood out to me for the quality, the generosity of sauces, wasabi & ginger given, and especially for the freshness! Even the rice & avocado were fresh! Finally, we were pleased to see everything was carefully labelled for us in our trays - this was super helpful and considerate. I didn’t care for the Wakame Salad as much because I found it too sweet, but everything else definitely made up for that.
Kuma is my new favourite! Thank you to anyone that put in the effort to cook, pack, and handle our order. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this restaurant a try.

First time here, I'm generally very picky with sushi. We got 6 rolls and they were all amazing and packaged to go neatly. Their soya sauce packets are exceptional and canadian made! The rice was fresh,warm and soft. The rolls stayed tightly together and were easy to eat

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SUSHI! Truly one of the best places to get sushi in Winnipeg. I order frequently via a delivery app and they always nail my order! I’ve even received extra rolls with my order FOR FREE! Not to mention the price of the sushi in general is far cheaper than most other sushi places in Winnipeg. Very low prices, big, 8 piece rolls, and EXCELLENT quality. Everything they make is DELICIOUS. Would highly recommend!

I think they have to beat sushi in the city. I drive across town for it! Every roll is so fresh, they have so many vegetarian options, and they are incredibly fast! It’s a bonus that every employee is so kind too. If you haven’t tried this place out yet this is your sign!
