My birthday cake schmoo not as good as last year. Very heavy , Very little caramel and the little bit caramel tastes not very good tastes weak and like sugar and water only l, Very disappointed in the quality, ruined my birthday , I checked the photo of last year cake and the caramel is definitely better and rich looking . This cake the caramel is very light like watered down
No more cakes will be ordered from this place

The best Mediterranean/Italian market in Winnipeg. Lots of unique and ethnic/Mediterranean/Italian fare, but its expensive. Totally worth it!!! Cheese, wine and bread to die for!!!

I'll say it again... Love this place. Has everything for a coffee bar to bakery wine and hot ready to eat items.

We came on Monday morning, Nov 24, 2025, around 9 AM, and the guy at the cake counter was extremely unaccommodating. He made us feel like we weren’t wanted there. The service was terrible. I used to enjoy this place, but after this, I won’t be supporting it anymore.

This is the place to get fresh pasta and bread. Reasonable prices for the quality. Keep it up and I'll keep going back!

DONT GET THE PIZZA DISGUSTING!!!! ******First of all if I can give zero stars, I wish I can. Today’s experience was disgusting. I went for some Sunday expecting to have some decent pizza. It was absolutely disgusting not cooked. No sauce on the pizza tasted like dough for $27? I complained no use

It’s has some nice products but very expensive. We got the cabbage roll and it was not great! It was cabbage with LOTS of rice! (The food that they make is not great). So disappointing! the French bread , is not a French bread! I think it’s good for cheese, meats and some specialty products … but again expensive!

Staff was rude and rushing me to order. I picked up a small cake that was over priced. The cake I picked in the glass window was not the same one I got, the one I got had mold on it was. not happy with my experience here.

Prepared food is not tasty at all, below average, which is ridiculous for the price that they’re charging. Desserts are the same, too sweet and the cream is too fatty (not a good fat). Deli is overpriced 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blown away by the quality of products in this store! I can’t say I have anything negative at all to say about this place. Their cheeses are so fresh and delicious. Their service is also great here too. I stock up on Pecorino Romano everytime I come up from the states because unfortunately in hot dish US, aka Minnesota, I can’t find this cheese anywhere unless I make it down to the twin cities 5 hours away. Even though I ask for a ton of cheese they always grate it for me and package it with a smile! Also, super tasty and fresh pastries and baked goods. Get there early as they sell out fast. Have also tried their hot foods and desserts- not one bad item yet, and I’ve been to this store probably a dozen times now. I can’t even complain about the prices- it’s worth the high quality and consistency that you can rarely find in any store these days. They also carry a great variety and stock of grocery items, like sauces, pastas, spices, bottled drinks, etc. I visit here everytime I come to Winnipeg and will continue to do so.
