Cool place and great beer. Parking is just the problem.
Tasty beer friendly service
Nice space and beers. Hit and miss service. Did not apply the discount on the board and watched bartender pour the top of the beer out for foam without topping up, but next round was very good.
If you come here thinking it’s like the Kenora location.. well it’s not. More of a get a beer and a snack vibe but that’s ok. I still had a good experience once figured out how this location works. My server told me about the area and served me with great service. Made sure I was looked after between beer, food and Swag, I didn’t get a name but I wore my new hat all the way home back to Regina, thank you! Rated 4 stars because I wish it had more food options like flagship location and very hard to find for first timer
service is non existant, fend for yourself order at the bar - no menu. Deff not a spot you should bring anybody to.
Kind of disappointed…. Especially considering how great the food was at the Kenora location when we were there before. The beer was ok, but the food was horrible. $10 paper cup full of macaroni and a $15 veggie burger that came without any sides. Macaroni was microwaved, dripping with oil, and definitely not what a ten dollar portion of anything should look like. Veggie burger was mushy (undercooked) and had the tiniest bit of lettuce and some pickles on it. Doubt we’d go back.
Great beer and hospitality. Would go back again. Brewmaster is incredible.
Lake of the woods is a very cool local brewery tucked into the downtown scene, and right by canada life centre. Several of us got flights - the beer was excellent, and we even got to enjoy a shotski of whiskey which was very cool!
I've been to the Winnipeg location a few times before Jets games / Whiteout parties, and I was always blown away by how great their beer tasted.
Now whenever I go to any Liquor Mart/Beer Vendor, 70% to 100% of the beer I select is LOTW. Their all so great, and I can't decide which one I like the most.
I also picked up a hat almost 2 years ago, and it's still my favourite hat I own. I need to stop by to get another and see whatever other merch they have on hand!
Shannon was a great host, root beer was delish!

Fish Tacos were amazing! Waitress recommended a beer and cider combo drink and it was so tasty!
Delicious food, excellent beer and Shanna Banana (my fabulous server) took great care of me on a Wednesday afternoon! Definitely recommend!
Stopped in on my travels out west. Was eagerly awaiting my visit as I had had their beer before.
Was not disappointed in anyway! My wife and I sampled four different beers, had a great pizza and I had the local walleye fish and chips
Highly recommend!
Good food and drinks option at Kenora! We enjoyed the wood fired pizza but also has many options on the menu. Attached to the restaurant there is a shop for swags/giveaways.
We were passing through and decided to stop for lunch. I had a burger and fries. Excellent quality and generous portions. Tess was a bubbly and kind server. She didn't miss a thing. She offered me samples of current beers and was knowledgeable. I chose the watermelon sour. So good! I also tried one with blueberries, sorry, I can't remember what it was. Nonetheless, it was a tough choice. Thank you so much for a great experience Tess! ?
