An amazing non-for-profit restaurant with great staff, delicious food, and a small-time (mom & pops) feel. We highly recommend it.

Amazing breakfast spot, love the French toast cinnamon bun! Best breakfast spot in Winnipeg. Fantastic staff!

Update: still the absolute best spot for breakfast. Homemade bread, excellent coffee and the cinnamon buns are perfect. Love this spot.

Tova is my absolute favourite place to go for brunch. I go all the time and they never disappoint.

They have the most friendly staff!! Their food is delicious and the cheapest I’ve seen in a long time. Annnnd their bread is homemade!!! 🤯

My first time here and we were a little disappointed with how they seat people.
There was an empty table (but apparently someone was on the wait list to claim it).
After waiting, they didn’t show and they ended up seating us at the empty table.
Website said no reservations needed. Hmmm I ordered a wrap that was delicious, but lukewarm. 😏

This is a wonderful restaurant, with excellent service, delicious food, at a reasonable price. They're a not-for-profit whose proceeds go to local group homes helping people with intellectual disabilities. They also have volunteers from the group home, which helps with their social skills. All in all, an amazing restaurant that's a win-win. Will definitely come back.

I absolutely love the small town vibe of this place where they know all their customers and treat everyone like they are best friends. The fresh baked bread is amazing. Normally I would talk about how affordable the prices are but really the service and food are what this cafe is really about.

We have stopped in here for a reasonably priced and lovingly prepared lunch on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is simple and healthy and truly is lovingly prepared and served.... Not your greasy burger place.. a great place for a bowl of soup and a sandwhich.. Two thumbs up for sure.. A refreshing change from the obscene pricing all around us... $20 for a grilled cheese sandwhich down the street...

Great local place, the price is right and brunch is great. Try whatever specialty bread they are making. Just wish it was open sundays

A bit out of the way for most, I’m lucky that my mom lives around the corner. It’s my favourite breakfast place to go when I’m in town. Love the Ukrainian Breakfast! Perogies, sour cream, kielbasa, along with the usual breakfast items! The food is excellent and the staff are all kind decent people. It would be special at prices considerably higher but it’s all the more compelling considering the prices they do charge. A hidden gem in the Winnipeg food scene.
