It seems they have started to skimp out on the portions, I went in with a friend, I ordered a large, she got a small, and the portion size was barely any different for being a $2 difference. I would come here regularly almost 2x a week with her, and it's just disappointing that they have went downhill. The large portion had maybe an extra 20%. We ordered sundaes, there wasn't much syrup to even go with the sundae for both of us.
You can look through the reviews, to compare how much you'd get compared to now. Just an overall disappointment from the last season they were open. Probably won't really come back here as the place just isn't worth it for the price they charge anymore.

The ice cream is delicious and that is why I am coming often, but the past few times the portions have been so different and smaller. This is a picture of the big difference between two cones we got. If I am paying the same price I am expecting to get the same portion.

This is a great ice cream location in the south of Winnipeg. My wife and kids love this spot. The ice cream is delicious and it has vegan choices that my wife likes so much. We would definitely come back again.

I believe ice cream is good anytime of the year! I have tried all the ice cream joints around Winnipeg and Licks is right there at the top.Soft ice cream mixed with real fruit? Amazing. I have never seen that anywhere else and these guys have it perfected.

So glad I found this place! They have blue licorice ice cream which I love and can never find anywhere. Staff were wonderful! And prices were fair. definitely will be back as this is our new fave ice cream place.

A great variety of flavours. Price is okay. Scoops are very generous and the ice cream is clearly really good quality. No problem to find parking and lovely neighbourhood nearby that you can walk around while eating your ice cream.
One of the best ice cream shops in the city. Have yet to try anything other than their hard ice cream. Highly recommend for anyone who likes ice cream.

Ok but the Peanut Butter Parfait is better. In past I’ve had a sundae with hard chocolate ice cream & raspberry sauce - excellent combination of flavours.
Expect line ups on summer evenings - this is Winnipeg after all & ice cream is our thing
