Several times In 2023 I had gone to this bldg for appts. After I would go to the cafe and have lunch or a snack. Food and soups have been delicious!! So I raced to my mom about it. Then it happened that she was referred to the hearing centre and also had to go back weeks later for follow up. Both times she went there she was served by a young girl. My mom got a soggy wrap and the other was a bun warmed in a microwave and was burnt and hard and turned my mom off from eating there ever again. That is a shame considering the hype I gave the food!The girl needs more training in food services or needs more training in customer service either way she wasn’t very good! Lacks careS L

One of the biggest and tastiest clubhouse sandwiches I've ever had. I appreciated good quality lettuce and a good cheese slice. I also had the soup of the day which was a tomato soup and it really hit the spot.

I ordered from skip the dishes. Food came fast. I was very excited after reading the reviews. I’m a big fan of a deli corned beef sandwiches but only get them once a year because they trigger a health conditions symptom. I hoped it would be worth the day of discomfort. So I ordered corn beef on marble Rye with lettuce , mozzarella, mustard & horseradish mayo; and a chai. The pickle and chai were great. The marble rye bread was extremely fresh, to the sandwiches detriment. They LOADED the sandwich with the two condiments I selected, on both pieces of bread. Each mouthful was mush. Soggy bread with teaspoons of sauce globing out each side & into my mouth. I dismantled the sandwich and wiped off all the meat, cheese and lettuce, hoping to save it. But the fresh bread was a sponge. The meat was so tender it disintegrated as I tried to wipe it. Each bite was a savoury mushy mess. The texture and mouth feel left me gagging. I’m used to solid sturdy corned beef sandwiches but this disintegratedwith the slightest pressure. The flavours weren’t bad once I reduced sauce but I couldn’t get past how everything was mush. I threw out 3/4 of the sandwich, despite not being able to afford to waste food. I’m now dealing with the repercussions of ingesting what I did get down, without any of the benefits of enjoying the meal. It wasn’t worth it. Less sauce & putting the sauce between the meat & lettuce or cheese and not putting it on both sides might have helped but the meat was too soft for me anyhow. Sandwich was 1/5. HALF pickle was 5/5 & tea was 4/5.
