What happened? It used to be my favorite restaurant to get Chinese food from whenever I came to Winnipeg. The rice used to be so good. Now it's flavorless, and stinky. Blah! We could only eat some meat and vegetables in our combination take out trays before losing our appetites because of the off-putting smell. New cooks? New management? What is it. It's not the same and definitely not good anymore. So gross. I see a few other reviews that have had similar issues with this restaurant recently. Sadly, I will never order from here again.

It has been a while since we ordered from here at work, and a few year's ago it was the ok place to get a good lunch.

But we ordered something on monday, and the food was kind of gross.

We ordered two combo dishes, and had no problem with the
meat or vegatables... however the fried rice tasted burnt and
very funky old... and by funky old.. I mean it tasted like they cooked it saturday
then re-heated it for monday.

My combo came with an egg-roll, but I ordered an additonal egg-roll

and both of them looked deflated like they were deep fried and tossed in a fridge then microwaved later.

We ordered by Uber and the food came within 20 minutes or less,
like everything was pre-made and reheated.

Both of us had to toss the funky burned rice out, and I would
say to this restaurant please make some effort... Cooking food
for patron's who pay for it deserve better.

I have a small bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce in a fridge at work,
and I poured it on that fried rice, but even Kikkoman could not
disguise that horrible taste of bad, old and days old fried rice.

I am only making this review to remind myself never to order food from here again! Beef chow main was burnt and burnt flavour all throughout the noodles! Half the noodles were crunchy and the other half soggy! I was also informed I must pay for the plastic bag! I ended up carrying this extremely hot garbage home! I must say the very few times I have had food from here, I was always disappointed!

They are only warm to white people and have a bad attitude towards Asian-looking guests. I brought a bottle of diet coke into the store, and the boss told me that his store prohibits all outside drinks.

This establishment does have outstanding customer service. All the waiters have the menu on lock and seem to know it by heart without even looking. Keep in mind there has to be more than 200 items on these menus.
For a short time they had a local fella working there who was a family friend who was really funny.
I used to eat here once a week when I lived in the area and never really have had an issue with my food.
I learned what I liked and didn't like but surely this restaurant is a top pick when you wanna go out for Chinese.
It is a bit expensive mind you but the portions are decent for the price.

Let me begin with a simple fry rice they basically toss a rice saturated over soy sauce, I've ordered with shrimp and uncooked shrimp taste and smell so you can imagine the rest of my 7 dish would taste like really disappointing with quality and the portion

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable! Today, however, the service seemed a bit off. Our waitress twice placed the straw on the table instead of offering it in a napkin, and the overall cleanliness could be improved. I understand that everyone has off days, but a little attentiveness to these details can make a big difference in the dining experience.
