My adult daughters & I enjoyed our visit immensely. Delicious food, wonderful selection of teas, lovely decorations & table wear! Server was friendly & helpful. We have visited many times before and will definitely visit again. Thank you for continuing to offer this delightful experience.

We've been to 4 high tea events and never disappoints! The place is decorated beautifully and the service is top notch. Absolutely love having Rod as our server. He's the best! Don't ever let him leave :) I highly recommend it. Some of the sandwiches could be tastier but wasn't too bad. They just need more of a selection.

We had an excellent time at the Wicked Tea at the Fairmont's Velvet Glove restaurant. The theme was so fun, the food delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

We completely enjoyed our high tea at the Fairmont. It was first class all the way. I can't wait to go back! Our server Rod was amazing. The food was so tasty.

Rod was a great server and the food was great! The food did take a long time to come out but once we had everything it was amazing 😻

Super disappointing. We've gone to their Sunday teas several times and had wonderful experiences but their Easter brunch was a big miss. We had a reservation at 1:45 and by this hour, the eggs had been on the heat so long that they were rubbery, and the meat from the meat stations was cold. We paid over $100 a person and I think for that price it's fair to expect food that's just as fresh and delicious as the food that those with 10 am reservations had. Definitely recommend skipping their buffets and we'll be looking elsewhere next time we decide we want to do Sunday tea.

Recently visited for the Wicked themed tea party which was a set menu. On the positive side; the presentation and decor was very cute and on theme. They brought out two full tea pots Of our choice, which lasted our entire visit. The server explained the set menu very thoroughly. The scones and some of the sandwiches were SO GOOD and it was a really nice variety! On the more negative side; our section of the restaurant smelt like feet. There was a table of kids so I'm not sure if they were taking their shoes off? But it was really bad and lasted the entire visit. Our server hardly came around. We wanted to ask for a side of milk with the tea but she didn't come back for 20 minutes and at that point she had the food. Some of the sandwiches were either soggy or stale and then all of the desserts were stale, as if they had been sitting out all day. The server dropped off the bill while we were still eating which made us feel rushed. But the when we were done and trying to pay, I had to track down another server to try and get someone to take our payment. Overall I'm not sure I'd recommend. The price I paid does not match the quality or the experience.

The experience was special, as I took my 7 year old daughter. So I enjoyed her excitement. My reservation was supposed to be at 2:15, I never received any food until closer to 3:00 with a 7-year-old. This was a bit of a problem. There was a table of Instagram influencers that were quite obnoxious in utilizing the server's time, which I felt took away from the experience. Feedback for this is if you're going to have influencers come in put them in a corner. Have them away from everyone because it was very distracting. The idea of everything was amazing, The decor was a little lackluster in that I think if they brought in professional decorators they could take this one step above, Even having performers like Glinda or Elphaba visiting the tables would have been a nice touch. The food items that were fresh were very good. The food items that were stale were absolutely disgusting. The egg salad bagel chip, was stale and unedible. The pistachio cake was old and crusted around all four sides. I think at this price point everything should be fresh and checked over to ensure It's not old and you're not delivering an old little piece of cake. The manager did come by and asked me how everything was and of course at the time I wasn't going to draw any attention or make a scene about my actual experience and my feelings just because my daughter was there and I wanted to just make the experience special for her. At this price point I just expected more.

We attended the Wicked High Tea. The food was delicious and atmosphere was amazing. However, the service we received was not up to par. Perhaps our server and additional serving staff were distracted by the social media influencers, ensuring they were well looked after, but it came at a cost to other patrons' experience. I ordered a cocktail and had to remind my server I was still waiting for it when he came to offer more tea. Our waters were only refilled the one time I was able to stop a different server from refilling water for another table near us. The attentiveness was just not there during this visit and it was a disappointment from what I have experienced in other visits. Hopefully if there is a next time there won't be ‘influencers' or the service will figure out how to balance their attention more efficiently.

I recently had the pleasure of attending my first high tea event, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical! The theme was inspired by the beloved musical "Wicked," and every detail was thoughtfully curated to transport you right into the Land of Oz. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by enchanting decor that perfectly captured the essence of the show. The ambiance was whimsical yet elegant, making it the perfect setting for a delightful afternoon tea. Each tier of the tea stand was a work of art, featuring delectable treats that were not only delicious but also creatively themed. The highlight for me was the selection of cocktails, which offered a variety to choose from, including both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options. Each drink was creatively crafted to fit the theme, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience! And of course, the selection of teas was extensive, allowing everyone to find their perfect brew. Highly recommend it for a special occasion or just a fun day out with friends!

We attended the Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea. Service was impeccable - detailed, attentive but not hovering, and we were not rushed at all. They paid great detail to our allergy request. Given the food was presented on two separate tier servers, we would have appreciated being given a larger table (as there were several available at the time of our sitting). The food was very good, but not quite to the level The Velvet Glove has been known for in the past (though the portions were ample). We will be attending again.

What a wonderful experience - this was our Valentine's outing and it was perfect. The food was delectable, the service friendly and the ambiance was ‘winter wonderful' in our warm, cozy booth.

Food was good, but they need to be more carefull with there servings. For example our party of 5 had to racks one for 2 people and one for 3. The one ofe 3 people didnt have enough scones for 3 people . This is the second time here that this has happened and they dont give you another scone. The only other complaint is if you order the same teas they double up on the tea bags instead of giving your own teapot. 3 teabags in a little teapot is just wrong. Other than that its a nice outing.

We take the family to tea once or twice a year. It's always a great experience. Had great service from Rita again. More food than you can eat and it is beautifully presented and fun. We will keep going back.
